Such a lovely caravan in a beautiful…

Such a lovely caravan in a beautiful setting. Clubhouse/shops/pool not far to walk. We had everything we needed, We would definitely come back and stay again 😊

Filthy caravan, no customer service

We turned up to the caravan in Dymchurch to find a smelly, dirty and ant ridden property. The carpets were absolutely disgusting. The hair and fur in the carpets was the worst I have ever seen in any carpet. Even on the laminate there was crumbs, fluff, bits of tissue etc. The toilet floors were gross, with thick hair and grime in the corners and behind the toilet. There was muck under the beds and sofas. The laminate was so, so dirty. I called 1066 holidays immediately and was told I would hear back from someone asap if I emailed them. So I did that and did not receive a response so called back an hour later to be told they couldn't specify when someone would get back to me and the office was closed. So we left and drove home. I absolutely could not spend a single night in that filth. Reading other reviews I assume I will have a battle on my hands for a refund given the lack of customer service. Goggling the telephone number i see that they also have their own cleaning firm which is so very ironic

Awful state of one of their property's

Awful state of one of their property's. No response to communication regarding dreadful quality. White Haven caravan on Park Resorts site at Winchelsea Beach.Property absolutely not as described on the VRBO Site or their own site.Dirty, smelly, old and worn, shabby, mouldy, rusty etc etc etc

Disgusting!!!!

Disgusting!!!!! I can now see many others have had a similar experience and can also see that the company only respond to positive reviews! Lol Unsafe, unclean and unsupportive The state of the property was absolutely disgusting. There was dirt, food crumbs and food stains on the kitchen floor which hadn’t been cleaned. The bathroom radiator was completely rusty, the shower rusty and the shower door not even fitting the shower frame. The window in the smaller room was broken and unable to close at all making the property unsafe. The property smelt very bad. The property listing images are incorrect this is not the same caravan and if it is these pictures where taken when it was brand new - the property listing says sleeps 6 but it doesn’t it sleeps 4 and there is no addition bedding provided. Being able to rectify this with 1066 was the most confusing process ever - you have to email for a response the response tells you to call the warden the warden tells you to email! I called 6 times over 3 hours sent several emails … The staff at parkdean were unable to assist as the property is private. 1066 never sent anyone to clean the room and did not send anyone to rectify the broken window and have never contacted me to follow up. This meant that we stayed in a property where the window was compromised. Gone through booking.com cos form the reviews it seems they have taken my money and will be keeping it - small claims court I think!

Absolutely terrible experience

Absolutely terrible experience ! Still on the holiday and trying to make the most if it for the children's sake as it is our only holiday this year.Caravan is old , scruffy , horrible smell from drains. No decking - just a drop from the patio windows! So dangerous ! No entertainment as advertised for passes .... apparently starts next week but we were not informed of this. I questioned the company before coming as photos were not that great and they said that the photos were old , reassured me that it was in great condition!Was miss sold this holiday and we are not happy . Have emailed but not even had a response! Never again !

Would score a zero but have to score at least a 1 star to be able to write on here.Worst experience we've had with a weekend break, customer service is horrendous. Any problems that arise complaints they blame yourself.. we had no gas during our stay and front door didnt shut or lock properly yet when we phoned there was no empathy, and they actually blamed us. Also filthy cutlery and crockery, took photos. Would defo stir clear. Convo has been screen shot for proof. They don't reply to emails and refused us a refund.

Disgusting .

Intended to stay for 4 weeks in a "lodge" at Beauport Park. Lasted 20 hrs . 1066 refused to change the Matress on the bed it was heavily stained with human DNA and smelled disgusting, they attempted to cover the old matress with a matress topper which had dried sperm on . The whole place smelled of damp dog and cheesy feet , the smell was so bad I had to open all windows just to sit in there.I had to buy my own bedding a throw to sit on the stinking sofa and £70 of cleaning products and spent the entire morning cleaning it still didn't make any difference to the god awful smell . The property looked nice but not fit for humans . If I can load the photos I will , if not I will load them to trip advisor and Google reviews .1066 would not entertain any of it I did leave them half a bottle of fabreeze and left the matress on show so they could have a sleep on it as they did not seem to think there was anything wrong with it .

Terrible company.

Terrible company.I asked them to come and check chemicals on my recently filled pool. The man came chatted mainly about life, he the. Took five minutes to test my pool told me he didn’t have the chemicals I needed to correct a minor level in alkalinity, and apart from that my pool was in perfect condition. He Advised what chemicals to buy and how much to add and left. I did what was advised and ended up with a cloudy pool with levels of chemicals off the scale. I was at a loss what to do, and of course that is why I called them to get a better understanding of chemicals and care for my pool. I did ring them and after practically being called a liar, I was begrudgingly offered to have someone come out again, I refused and had to in the end empty my pool, as no amount of chemicals I added were going to help. Two weeks later they asked me for payment! The emails went on demanding payment even lying about how long they been there! even from their owner who was quite rude. Not even sorry…I paid in the end to stop the stress of future emails. They didn’t care they just wanted money!Horrid company, awful advice and service!Id call someone else! Because when their advice goes wrong they don’t care!Horrid rude company.

Stayed at parkdean cambersands the 12/09/2022.Got there Friday afternoon to find the gate to the lodge was hanging off,headboard in bedroom had come off the wall.mirror was on the floor.no tables or chairs in the decking area to sit onRadiator valves had been shut off so tight,they couldn't be opened!!When I emailed 1066 about it,they replied with a sarcastic email,telling me to open them myself!!! Never will I book with 1066 again
