Review Time
Though it seems a bit late to write a review but I must admit the memory still new everyday. I have a holiday in Coghurst Hall which I could have stayed with my daughter and my grandkids for the duration of their holiday but some of the dates were already booked by someone else and had to book another holiday home which was the Grove at Beauport from 28th-4th Sept 21. I must admit the place was spotless and very spacious. 1066 was very understanding and allowed us to go to Bueauport earlier for the sake of kids which I found incredible. Though we did get lost several times to find the place, but the place was beyond our expectations.We absolutely enjoyed our stay but in terms of entertainment especially for the kids Coghurst was the best. I wish there could be a lot more of children`s entertainment so that we did not need not need to be going back to Coghurst Hall especially in the evenings before children go to bed.

New, clean and well decorated caravan. By only having 2 bedrooms the master bedroom was very large for a caravan and had a kingsize bed which was very welcome. The only drawback was the very cheap tv which seemed to make everything green! Probably would not have noticed but we spent more time in the caravan than normal due to the inclement weather. Overall it was a very comfortable stay
Awful experience.Staff just don’t care and are no help at all. Revived a phone call on the day of our caravan holiday saying we had been moved 2.5 hour walk away from our booking. We wanted a family/ entertainment venue to keep all family and friends happy and we’re moved to a retirement complex at value £180. We paid £330 and offered no price difference nor refund for awful last min change. Still waiting for a call back 5 days later. DEBBIE is an awful manager and her way of dealing with these situations is to simply ignore them. Don’t book with 1066 holidays. Our holiday was well and truly ruined.
Lovely location but was tainted by issues. No water on last day but was told to use park showers instead, this doesn’t solve the problem with no drinking water. When issue was reported I was told that I would get a call back 5 minutes later. This did not happen so I had to call back 55 minutes later. Property was dusty/dirty and clearly hadn’t been cleaned for a while. There was a dirty mop head at entrance. Was a nice property but I would advise to find another to save hassle if there is any issues
Awful company to deal with. Caravan had bbq outside with mouldy food, hole in bedroom door, 1 pillow on double bed, broken lamps, lights not working in twin room, handle fell off in double bedroom, advert fails to state that caravan is practically right on very busy main road, and only 1 very tiny baking tray for 7 guests to cook with!Had issue with booking prior to arrival, sent 4 emails, called and left voicemails - all ignored. Advertisement states on air bnb from 1066 holidays to contact them if you have issues but they don't respond (not until you're way into your break so at that point they can't assist!)Usually I leave positive reviews as I don't like to be negative but worse customer service and horrible caravan - one to avoid for sure!Following on from 1066 Holidays reply below - I would like to add that I do have photographs to show the caravan with these faults - I am happy to forward these as the response from 1066 is completely inaccurate.
