We're customers of the the AEG repair service for an out-of-warranty fault washing machine. Unfortunately this service has been appalling: Despite providing information to them using the Electrolux online portal, the first engineer turned up with no replacement parts, for what he said was a common issue. Drum needed replacing and we had to wait 2 weeks before they could return. The 2nd engineer turned up with a damaged replacement part... another two weeks goes by. Third visit, he replaced the drum but it didn't fix the issue. Another week goes by...4th visit lasted all of 20 minutes where the outcome was needing to order a different replacement part. The next visit is in 10 days time!! That'll be 5 visits, and NINE WEEKS since I first contacted AEG about the issue. Nine weeks without a washing machine.

Bought matching fridge and freezer at same time but will not go into the fridge problems this review is regarding the freezer, on the 19/01/26 a shard of plastic dropped from the handle as door was opened, couldn't see at this point where from, next opening the handle came away from the freezer at the bottom so got InTouch with aeg through the online repair system on the 21/01/26 the booking for repair was 26/01/26 my birthday 🎈,has it got later in the day I rang them to see why they have not been and the answer was the repair has been cancelled and transferred me straight to parts supplier where could buy parts,so bare in mind this was 25 days out of warranty on an expensive item with an average door handle open of 5 time per week, do the maths, will be pursuing them under consumer rights act 2015, honest review do not buy from aeg as when problems start they will drop you like a stone
One should always evaluate a company based on its response to problems, and unfortunately, this service has fallen short. While under warranty, we needed an engineer to repair our double oven. We scheduled repairs online as instructed, but on the same day, the assigned repairer called to inform us they couldn't fulfill the appointment for unknown reasons and could only offer a slot for the following week. Frustrated, I reached out to customer support. They promised a callback within a specific timeframe, but it never came. When I called again the next day, I was told there was nothing they could do and that I needed to contact the seller. I explained that I had already done so and that, as it was a warranty issue, the service was responsible for the repair. The response was dismissive, indicating I would have to wait for the engineer. It's hard to manage without an oven for over a week, especially in the middle of winter. The lack of customer care is alarming, and I certainly won't consider this brand or its products in the future.
The company should rethink their choice of delivery service. I ordered two items meant for two nearby locations. The delivery staff exhibited unprofessional behavior. One item arrived damaged and needed to be sent back. When I informed the drivers about the cancellation of the delivery to the other property, they claimed they weren’t the only ones working in the area. This seems inconsistent, as their names were clearly visible in the tracking information. It took almost three weeks for them to return and collect the damaged item. While customer support is accessible and returning or replacing items is relatively easy, I am still waiting for three separate refunds, which have been pending for over a month. I have initiated a chargeback and involved my bank; hopefully, this will be resolved soon.
All products in the new property have been problematic from the start. The freezer drawer, which has seen minimal use, has nearly broken in just a few months. After reaching out for a replacement, the customer service experience was appalling. One representative even stated, “If you are not happy with this there's not much I can do.” I am extremely disappointed after spending a significant amount on these products, and they can't assist with a faulty freezer drawer. I am furious.
I ordered an integrated steam washing machine for £600 directly from the company four weeks ago. It has been stuck at a local depot for two weeks, and they wouldn’t allow me to pick it up due to alleged 'health and safety' reasons. Today, a delivery service brought a different washing machine that was not mine, addressed to someone else entirely. After contacting them, they eventually delivered an AEG machine that was not integrated, had no identification details or usual contents, and appeared used with water leaking from it. I requested to have it taken back, but the delivery team was unhelpful and rude. They eventually took the wrong machine away, but now I’m left on hold for an hour with customer support, £600 down, and no washing machine. The customer service from both the company and the delivery service has been appalling. I strongly advise against using these companies; they seem to lack integrity and proper service. If this continues, I may have to pursue legal action.
I was looking forward to having AEG appliances in our new kitchen. Unfortunately, they are over a week late with no explanation for the delay and no idea when they will arrive. The delivery company seems to be the issue. The seller has been trying to contact AEG for over a week with no response. We've had to cancel appointments with plumbers and electricians twice now and have gone over a month without appliances. It's a tough situation, and the customer support from AEG appears nonexistent. If the order doesn't arrive by next Tuesday, we will have to cancel and choose a different brand.
