Extremely poor customer service related to solving a problem; the agents located in India and Manila are incompetent and unable to provide any empathy for a client problem; they have no authority to correct any issues related to booking a reservation or resolving ongoing issues; avoid this company
I am deeply disappointed with Airbnb’s handling of my account suspension. Without any prior notice or clear explanation, my account was abruptly deactivated. I was not given any specific details about the alleged violation, nor an opportunity to present my side or defend myself. This lack of transparency and due process is both frustrating and unjust.Attempts to contact customer support have been met with generic responses, offering no real insight into the reasons behind this decision. As a long-time user, I find this treatment unacceptable. Airbnb’s approach in this matter reflects a disregard for its users and raises serious concerns about their commitment to fairness and customer service.I urge Airbnb to review their policies and provide affected users with clear information and a fair chance to address any issues before taking such drastic actions.
Trying to get customer service to resolve an issue with a superhost.No showers were available during our stay. 450.00 a night in Cottonwood AZ and we couldn't even shower.Now airbnb just keeps closing my request without doing anything.
Called support team because I was flagged as someone that might throw an "unauthorized party." Called Airbnb Support multiple times and they all literally said the same thing as if they were all reading from a script. I also contacted the hosts and I was willing to provide any identifications. I was told to call Airbnb Support to unblock me from inquiring them. Couldn't help me in the end even if the hosts has approved me as their guests.
Very Poor platform. X2 properties that are available then host sends private message to say property is not available. Scam hosts and Airbnb are allowing this to happen. Please do not purchase bookings from Rachael from St David's Pembrokeshire or Michelle from Cardigan. False advertising a number of properties under the same names. Airbnb poor to follow up and take action. Money is taken and hosts are breaching policy by requesting customers to cancel on their behalf, this way it is unlikely the customer gets a refund allowing the host to have the proceeds. This is an offence under the fraud act as the host and Airbnb are gaining.
I purchased an Airbnb gift card for my mother-in-law, but when she tried to redeem it, it showed as already used—impossible, since it was brand new. We contacted Airbnb support multiple times, but they kept redirecting us back and forth with no solution. After a week of frustration, there is still no refund or working card.This is unacceptable and feels like a scam. Airbnb is refusing to take responsibility, and their customer service is useless. I will escalate this further if not resolved immediately. Avoid their gift cards!
Airbnb has become an absolute joke of a company. We have been hosting for a very long time (more than 10 years!) and the support for hosts has become non-existent. On the rare occasion when we have to cancel a reservation due to a home emergency such as roof leaks, blocked pipes, health and safety issues, they want documentation or they want to charge you £100 and take away superhost status. As hosts we are trying to do the right thing by cancelling a reservation that might be affected by a home emergency but Airbnb wants to penalise us for doing the right thing. It’s absolute bollocks and I think our time of hosting on Airbnb is nearing its end very soon. We have had enough
I am a host. Airbnb want some document from me, but they don’t specify what documents. Everything i sent is not enough and in the meanwhile they keep threatening me to blok my calendar and delay my payments. The support is cryptic and ridiculous.
