1 138 / 5 000Hello,We replaced our nearly 25-year-old system with Ajax. While the first system worked via phone and SIM card, the Ajax system works via the internet. The entire system inside our home is wired.I noticed a few things that should be improved:I don't have the ability to be informed, unlike with the old system, if a door or window is open when the alarm is activated. You have to walk around the house to check that the doors and windows are properly closed.Furthermore, it's not possible to select the parts of the home you want to protect.Be careful, if you make a mistake willing to modify program management, you can't reload the information with your access code.Therefore, on one phone, I have a description of all the rooms, including the interior detectors, but I'm unable to reinstall this information on my other phone, and I don't know how to proceed. In the event of an internet outage, the information you receive on your phone may be incorrect; the system announces the alarm as disarmed when it is actually the opposite...
I really can’t praise this company enough. Fantastic products. My only gripe is the video doorbell. The button press alert just isn’t quite there yet. Although the new updated critical alert goes a long way to solving this issue, it still only rings twice. I can’t stress this enough, it needs to ring out until answered by the recipient. All other alarm systems and doorbells do this as standard. Alerts are still being missed in noisy environments. Please, please resolve this. It’s as simple as a small update and will make the doorbell useable and will earn you the full 5 stars.
I have been using the Ajax alarm system for more than six months now. The installation of the alarm system was very simple. The app is easy to use and there are regular updates. Not once had an error message or a false alarm in the past six months. The range of the sensors is enormous so you run no risk of a sensor being out of range of the alarmsystem. I also regularly tested the alarm system and when activating a sensor it also immediately jumps into alarm. In short, I am very satisfied with this system.
It's so user-friendly. The only thing I don't like is the fobs: hard to see the controls in poor light, they don't confirm (with a noise, say) when you use them, and once it armed itself whilst in my handbag. That gave me a fright when I went to go back in! Now I just control it from my phone, and I love it. (And keep the fobs somewhere handy in case I forget during the night-setting...)
