I would not consider myself…

I would not consider myself particularly technical but found the whole process of setting up and fitting the alarm system relatively simple. The online guides are really detailed and easy to follow. Since fitting it has worked without problem and I have now bought additional kit to cover a detached workshop and garage. I have always been a bit wary of wireless systems but this is brilliant.

Initially all seemed ok but the…

Initially all seemed ok but the hardware is prone to failure. I have been through three faulty door contacts. Every time the reed sensor fails and I have given up trying to source replacements (one door contact has failed and I have just left it in place). False alarms were a regular occurrence from motion sensors. However worst of all, most recently the hub has stopped connecting to the internet. The installer doesn’t want to know and the Ajax service response is to speak to the internet provider. I now have an expensive alarm system that doesn’t function.

Remember, this system is meant to protect your family, yet when it faltered and left us vulnerable, the 'help team' failed to act. For five days, we've lived without the peace of a secure home. As our children sleep, and we leave for work, the alarm remains disabled. It's a stark reminder that when it comes to safeguarding what matters most, shortcuts are not worth the price. We invested over 2K in this system, only to discover that its true value lies in the response of the company behind it. In our moment of need, they left us stranded. So, invest in more than just technology; invest in a real alarm company, one that stands by its promise to protect. Your family's safety deserves nothing less. Adam—-UPDATE.They reached out and still refuse to help me. They asked me do what I’ve been trying to do already. The system is flawed, the update has locked me out and it refuses to send me any codes by phone of email so I cannot log back in. And the tech team will not simply just text me or send me the codes manually even though they have written to me on the email address that is registered on the account. My telephone number is also on the account. It is insane.--After another section of emails, they finally managed to rectify the problem. Why they did not do so earlier, as I had five days without an operating alarm system, I have no idea. Adam
