I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding my recent experience at your BurJuman Ansari Exchange branch.(Shop no. R40.2)
I faced significant issues while attempting to process an international bank transfer. It appeared that the staff were not fully aware of the correct procedures and protocols for transferring funds from the UAE to another country. As a result, my transaction was delayed for over a week, causing me considerable inconvenience and financial loss, including penalties on a loan due to the delayed deposit.
I would also like to highlight my interaction with the shift in charge, Christian. Unfortunately, instead of addressing the issue constructively, he displayed an unprofessional attitude and was unwilling to listen to my concerns. He did not acknowledge the mistake made by his junior staff and was dismissive throughout the conversation.
While I understand that mistakes can happen, it is the responsibility of the team—especially senior staff—to handle such situations with professionalism, accountability, and respect toward customers. This experience has been extremely disappointing, and it reflects poorly on customer service standards.
I request that you investigate this matter thoroughly and take appropriate action to ensure that staff are properly trained and that customers are treated with respect and professionalism in the future.

My mother is elderly, and she went twice to the Alharam branch in Aleppo, but they refused to give her the $100 because her father’s name was not included exactly in the receiver’s name. This is extremely frustrating—why isn’t this requirement clearly stated in the app before sending the money?Because of this experience, I’m considering removing the Ansari app and no longer using your services. This has been a very poor experience. I also had to pay 10 AED just to request a name correction, and even after a full day, it still hasn’t been updated.Overall, this has been very disappointing, and I am seriously considering leaving a one-star review and filing a complaint.

I am very disappointed with the service of Al Ansari Exchange. I sent money to my family, but they still have not received the transfer. I contacted customer service several times, but I did not receive a proper response or clear explanation about the delay. This situation is very stressful because the money is urgent for my family. I hope Al Ansari Exchange improves their customer support and resolves such issues quickly for customers.
It is a pathetic and bureaucratic set up. I sent cash pick up on Monday. First, they ask for more information. Then it never confirmed its status. On inquiry they said to pick it up. When their vendor was approached, he refused to release the money. today when I followed up, they were asking for more information as if we have no work to do? now I asked for refund and they want picture of both sides of my debit card so it can be used for fraud??I will never use them??
Very poor exchange rates and disappointing service.The customer service agents are rude and unhelpful, with an attitude of “take it or leave it.” There is no effort to retain customers or provide solutions. In such a competitive market, many other exchange houses offer far better rates and genuinely helpful service. Unfortunately, Al Ansari Exchange does not meet those standards.
