I really understand why almost NO ONE in Norway uses Amazon. I want to buy a vape pen, with a Norwegian and in 2026 (NOT 1839!) they can not confirm my age with my Passport.

This review addresses the delivery service and overall experience, aiming to provide constructive feedback for other customers and highlight the shortcomings observed. We ordered a television on Black Friday, expecting a great deal with prompt delivery within a week. Unfortunately, the TV never arrived. The most surprising aspect was the entire process and how the service failed to deliver a readily available product that could easily be obtained elsewhere. After a week, the TV was supposed to be delivered, but no one showed up. Instead, we received an online update that the delivery had been postponed to the following week, which also did not happen. We reached out to customer service multiple times, and while they were friendly and eager to assist, they were unable to resolve the issue after several calls. This was particularly frustrating since it was a high-value item requiring a signature upon delivery. We stayed home specifically for this delivery. How can customers be treated this way? Is there no interest in selling higher-priced items? Additionally, we learned that customer service could only contact the logistics center in our area, which was concerning. In one instance, representatives at the logistics center even hung up on their colleagues. Clearly, there was a lack of accountability. After three weeks, we decided to request a refund, as it became evident that the item would not arrive. To sum up, if the service aims to frustrate its customers—especially Prime members—by ensuring they never order high-value items or gifts that need timely delivery, they are certainly on the right track. I might consider using their platform for minor purchases, like batteries for the remote of the TV we ultimately bought elsewhere. It took us quite a bit of time!
The support representative disconnected the call while I was still speaking. His tone was abrupt, and he remarked, "Do I make myself clear!? Have a very good day!" before ending the call. This behavior is shocking coming from an adult. I was simply trying to ask a follow-up question about a return, but he refused to engage and just hung up. I would recommend steering clear of this platform!
A complete disaster! I ordered a laptop during the last big sale, along with a few other items. The order was confirmed, and I expected to receive the package within a reasonable timeframe. However, I noticed that the money was only blocked on my card, so I couldn't use it. After a week of waiting, I tracked the package and saw it was sent to the carrier, and the money was finally deducted from my account. But on the same day, I received an email stating that the laptop was returned to the seller for an unknown reason, and I would be refunded. I intended to give the laptop as a gift to my daughter, so I had to purchase one from a different supplier at a higher price. The issue is that, a month later, I'm still waiting for my refund, and nothing has happened. I contacted Customer Service, and they told me they needed to verify my identity to prevent fraud and sent me a link to an external company for the verification. I completed the verification, yet still no reimbursement has occurred. I'm at a loss about what to do next; I never expected this kind of service.
My order was cancelled automatically for 'unusual activity' despite being legitimate. The platform requires submitting a government ID to a third-party for new orders, with no option for guest checkout or privacy for gifts. Time-sensitive gifts were lost, and alternate accounts are flagged immediately because of shared payment or device data. The system seems to prioritize fraud prevention over actual customer needs, leaving little recourse. This approach is rigid, opaque, and invasive, which is unacceptable for paying customers.
I ordered a smartwatch as a Christmas gift, expecting it to arrive by December 23rd. However, I received a notification on December 22nd that it would only be delivered on December 27th, after Christmas. I reached out to customer support to express my concerns, but they only offered a 5€ gift certificate as compensation for the delay. This isn't the first time I've experienced delivery issues, and I felt completely let down. My reasons for needing the item before Christmas were disregarded, and had I known it wouldn't arrive on time, I would have purchased it elsewhere. I wish the representatives would only receive 5€ gift certificates for Christmas as well. I've decided to stop ordering from this platform because they seem indifferent to delivery timelines and customer needs. I cannot recommend placing orders here if timely delivery is important to you.
Disappointing Experience with the Service
I placed an order, it was canceled, and I was promised a refund within 3-5 business days. Now, it's day 24 and still no refund. My customer account allows for two contact numbers, so when I updated my login and security number, I thought everything was fine. However, I started receiving delivery failure notifications and found my old number linked to the delivery address. Despite several attempts to reach out to the service and delivery agents to correct my number, my concerns went unheard. Now, the service wants to charge me for failed deliveries. I ordered two items on November 2nd, and now it's December 5th—33 days later with no refunds. I received conflicting messages regarding my refund status, and I have never received the items in question. Once this is resolved, I plan to delete my account, as I'm sure many others face similar issues. Ordering from a competitor shows all delivery details and includes an address check before the order is confirmed.
