The driver who finally arrived was a disaster—either impaired or dealing with mental health issues. The vehicle looked as if the driver lived in it and had minimal space for luggage. They failed to convey cancellation policies, and I'm still contesting a $1,000 bill for a ride I didn’t take, after attempting to cancel multiple times by phone and successfully cancelling via text more than 30 minutes before the driver was scheduled to arrive.
They were supposed to provide transportation from my home to the hospital for a surgery. The ride was scheduled for 4:00 AM on 11/21/24. At around 5:30 PM on 11/20/24, I received a text stating the ride was cancelled. There has been no explanation or communication from them since. This is a genuine scam! I'm relieved I paid with a credit card!
They denied service after I mentioned having anxiety, leaving me stranded during a critical moment with new people moving into my home. They then charged me the full amount for not providing a ride. Thankfully, my credit card resolved the issue, but they did it again! This is an unbelievably terrible service. Avoid at all costs.
This is a scam that I regret falling for. Who knows if a driver would have shown up? I needed to cancel the ride anyway and have faced nothing but nonsense from their representatives. They owe me $1,688.60. I may have to hire a lawyer just to seek satisfaction.
