Excellent communications from AnyVan from the outset of booking their services. They were thorough and have really good online apps to manage the requirements for moving then added that personal touch by phoning to speak directly once we had completed the booking to ensure all the information was accurate. They also laid out exactly what would happen, and IT DID. The Van team contacted us to advise on arrival time and executed the move with a positive attitude and were helpful and flexible. It was an excellent experience. Will definitely use AnyVan again.
Hi,As many reviews are stating, I cannot recommend Anyvan at all. Be extremely careful if you don't want to be SCAMMED. Anyvan works with any kind of driver without any standards, which makes the platform full of scammers. We were actually scammed by a transporter who, after providing the initial budget, came to us with a massive additional over cost.We complained to Anyvan and received no meaningful response.While Anyvan states that the budget you receive is the final cost, this is completely FALSE and represents clear false advertising. Please be aware that this is a platform full of scammers and you will never pay the price shown in your original budget.
I am disappointed with miscommunications due to confusion as a result of promises made and not met.- The key miscommunication is that the sales team never communicated that the items list for quotation has to be accurate, meaning 99.99% accurate. Failing to do so will result in the transport service denying the service, or asking for a random amount of money last minute, when they reach the location.- This key information can make or break a person's experience.- In my case, it happened too. The transport company arrived and started adhering to the list of items I chose for the quotation, and of course it was not accurate 99.99%. - This resulted me time, stress, and ultimately an incomplete job, when a transport company left an entire storage room full of things behind, with a condition to take those items if I pay at least 30% more.- AnyVan's sales team did not tell the transport company about the change in the movement job. In my case, the move had to be done in two parts: one, pick up things from the apartment, and keep them in storage for one month, then pick up things from the storage and drop them in the new apartment.- AnyVan's sales team is a typical example of how they will make all promises until the full payment is made for the service, and then they will not talk to you at all to solve the problems. Your call will go to the customer service team, where the team will speak like they were a recorded automation machine. - The customer service is very slow (but empathetic) and opaque. They will never speak with the transport team in a conference call in case of a conflict. And more often than not, they will lean towards the transport company and trust everything they say without asking for proof.- Another instance is with the movement job, which they canceled because transport company told them that I asked them to cancel the job. AnyVan's team trusted the transport company without asking for any proof from them, and withheld my payment. I did escalate the matter, and currently waiting for the resolution on two things - movement of my things, or the refund for the incomplete job. - Overall, I am completely dissatisfied with the service. I will never recommend such a poor company.- Fun fact, AnyVan is merely an aggregator website. They connect you to a transport company, and they take their cut.
I booked a move through AnyVan, but shortly after booking, I found out that the moving company I booked would not be able to solicit and obtain a parking permit from the city I lived in. The parking permit was required in order to have a moving van on the street, so I had to cancel my booking and find a local company that would do the move. Prior to canceling, I asked the company that I'd booked with if they would issue a refund for the deposit, and they said yes. I also checked AnyVan's terms of service, which state that will issue a refund for the deposit upon request. I attempted to re-book through AnyVan, but I could not find a local mover who could deal with the parking pass. As such, I requested a refund through AnyVan, and despite many, many emails, they refused. They kept my 500 euro deposit, insisting that, "while they review refunds on a case-by-case basis, this was not an acceptable case for which they would issue a refund." I even quoted EU law to them, which requires that a company refund you within a specific timeframe if you do not actually use the service. If you find out that the hired mover cannot provide the service you need, ask that mover if the deposit will be refunded and they say yes, and cancel a booking shortly after making it, then AnyVan should refund the deposit. Zero stars, do not recommend.

Su sistema de soporte es inexistente: nadie contesta al teléfono y los mensajes en el canal de WhatsApp se ignoran o se responden horas más tarde, sin disculpas y sin ningún intento aparente de entender el problema o ayudar. Su web no funciona correctamente, así que los cambios no se registran en el sistema, lo que hizo que no me enterara hasta que ya era demasiado tarde para cancelar o cambiar que el conductor venía el día equivocado. Actualización: la recogida terminó realizándose 15 horas después del plazo que me habían indicado. El conductor luego prometió que el bulto se entregaría hoy a las 13h. Le dije que estaba bien, pero que era imprescindible que llegara antes de las 19h. Me aseguraron que así sería, pero luego me llamaron ocho horas más tarde para decirme que apenas estaban saliendo de la ciudad donde la recogieron, y que por lo tanto no llegarían hasta más bien las 20h. Durante todos estos problemas y complicaciones estuve escribiendo a Anyvan por WhatsApp pidiendo apoyo y NO recibí respuesta — simplemente me están ignorando. La entrega ahora probablemente se hará dos días más tarde de lo previsto. El envío es muy importante e insustituible, y es muy probable que sufra daños por haber estado tanto tiempo en la caja. Contraté seguro, pero no confío en que vayan a cumplir con el pago si pasa algo. Nunca debería haberles dado mi dinero.This is not a delivery company, it is a platform that works with any old driver (you can’t choose which) and takes a commission on the transaction. Their support system is non-existent, nobody picks up the phone and messages on the WhatsApp channel are either ignored or answered hours later with no apology and no apparent attempt to understand the problem or be helpful. Their website does not work properly so changes are not recorded in the system, which meant I didn’t find out until it was too late to cancel that the driver is coming on the wrong day. Attempting to get help through the support channels was time consuming and completely unsuccessful. I feel like a fool for giving these scammers my money. I used anyvan on another occasion and everything went better, after this experience I will work directly with a moving company instead. Update: the pickup ended up happening 15 hours after the end of the pickup timeframe that I was given. The driver then promised the crate would be delivered by 1pm today, I said it would be ok if they could get it delivered before 7pm. They assured me it would be there before 7pm but then called me eight hours later to tell me they were only just leaving the city they picked it up in and therefore would not arrive until more like 8pm. All through all of these troubles and complications I was writing to anyvan in WhatsApp asking for support and received NO reply, they are simply ignoring me. The drop off will now likely happen 2 days after it was supposed to. The shipment is really important and irreplaceable and is likely going to be damaged from being in the crate so long, I got insurance but don’t trust them that they would follow through with a payout, I should never ever have given my money to these people.
It's not worthy to use this platform.They cannot guarantee thar the moving companies are professional and can deliver a good job.This platform took 500 euros and no service was provided. They only get you in contact with moving companies.Not recommended!!!
