Warning: AnyVan left me mid-move, demanded extra money, ignores complaints, and their “insurance” refuses to cover the first £300. UPDATE REQUESTED.I am writing in response to your recent message and to formally express my continued discontent with the service I received. The level of negligence, lack of professionalism, and disrespect I experienced is unacceptable and constitutes a serious breach of contract and consumer rights.Let me be absolutely clear: • I paid for a full-day premium service and was told I would be your only client that day, yet your team abandoned my move midway to attend another job, leaving me without my belongings for four full days. • You rescheduled my move multiple times, causing massive disruption and forcing me to cancel my Easter holiday so your team could return — and despite this, I was met with complaints from your team about having to work during the holiday. • I was pressured into paying additional money under duress • Furniture was damaged, and no resolution has been offered. • The stress was so severe that I had to seek emergency medical attention. • For more than a month, I received no proper communication, only vague and unhelpful responses over the phone. I only received a reply after escalating via email. • The compensation offered was minimal and does not even cover the amount I was forced to pay under pressure, let alone the damages and stress caused. • Finally, when I was contacted about this so-called compensation, I was spoken to in a deeply disrespectful manner that added further insult to injury.The treatment I received shows not only a complete disregard for contractual obligations, but also a disturbing lack of respect and concern for your customers’ well-being. I consider this experience an outright abuse, and I will not accept it in silence.I expect a full response addressing these points, as well as fair compensation for the financial, physical, and emotional damages your company has caused.
I hope you will read this before hiring them here. What you really need to know before:1. They are a middleman. You pay them they take a cut and pay a small moving company. So no responsibility.2. They will ask you if you have an elevator. You say yes and that’s it right? Wrong, they don’t tell you that if anything won’t fit into whatever elevator you have you pay extra for each floor. Like 10 euros per item per floor. 3. Again if something is big they can force you into paying 50 euros per item to disassemble and then assemble it. 4. If you don’t want to pay and let’s say you want to leave something behind then you won’t get a refund for those big pieces. Why? Because “we already have agreed with a moving company and can’t change the order”The moving company that I had was just two young kids. The issue is the lack of experience. They tried and I am ok with them although not all my furniture has arrived in the same state. As a conclusion: I would never ever suggest this company! They are scammers. They don’t tell you in advance about the elevator or other extra services. And you know what they company that they hired told me this happens all the time that all clients that come from them complain and pay! They can say whatever they want to protect their reputation but after my experience I will do my best for everyone to know who they are.

I had a great experience with Francisco and the team. He helped us move in a total of 5 hours. All the furniture was moved and without damage. He was energetic and helped with wrapping the furniture. My spanish is still limited but this was no problem at all. I would recommend AnyVan to all my friends and families.
