Late delivery, long wait time on the phone just to know they don’t know anything about the parcel because of backlogs, no email back when you email them just the standard automatic reply that someone from the team will reply shortly. Nothing was solved. Parcel was pick up last 8/12/25, parcel is in the Dublin gls center 9/12/25 and still nothing from them.
Zero responsibility for the job they've been contracted to do. Sent me emails on several occasions to say my parcel was with the driver and out for delivery today. On no occasion was a parcel delivered on those days. No contact made to say when parcel was delivered. When I say delivered I mean each and every parcel was dumped on my laneway. On 1 occasion the parcels were dumped on the lane in a storm with no notification. An Post, DPD, FedEx and every other delivery service manages to communicate they are either here or on the way and they always deliver to my door. Going forward I will not order anything from anyone using GLS as their courier.
They have my package in their warehouse for the last 6 days now and they blamed the bad weather on delays which wasn't true. I ordered items from multiple countries and was able to receive them within 3 days with other shipping companies. now they have stopped answering their phones. Packages has been in my country for 6 days and still waiting
The package was sent to the wrong address, leaving me to search the area to locate it. I had specifically requested that it not be delivered while my husband was home, as it was a surprise for his upcoming birthday. It was very stressful to see it marked as delivered yet missing from my doorstep. The house numbers were clearly visible, showing a lack of attention to detail.

If you phone GLS you will be left on hold for almost an hour and when you finally get through the queue the customer service representative knows no more than you. I finally received my parcel today 11/12/25 after ordering on the 24th of November. Very unprofessional company. Avoid if possible vendors should not use them for deliveries to Ireland.
