AVOID AVOID AVOID! Dropped of a family member at Manchester Airport and attempted to pay via APCOA's online portal however, the payment portal was down. I proceeded to contact customer service and was put on hold for a while only to advised to keep trying to pay online. The following day the portal was working and I was able to log on and pay. Two weeks later I get a £100 fine for not paying the fee within the 24 hour time period. I appealed and presented my evidence and my appeal was declined.I disputed the appeal via POPLA and it was further investigated only to be declined again and any further action was to be handled by citizens advise or take the legal route. Which I considered but due to lack of time and for what it would cost in legal fees I decided to pay the £100 despite not being at fault! However, the payment portal was down yet again! After numerous attempts of contacting customer service It's resulted in sending a cheque by post in 2025!
Dropped my parents off at the drop off point of Manchester airport. Stayed less than 10 mins and was allowed to exit the drop off area seemingly withouy a charge. Received a parking charge of 100£ couple of days ago. Absolute scam. Avoid if possible.
Absolute scam! Do not pre-book this location. It’s not a proper parking garage – it’s just around a dozen off-street spaces, and pre-booking does not guarantee you’ll actually get a space. Nowhere during the booking process does it state this, which feels completely misleading.It’s shocking that this is a council-run car park, as you’d expect higher standards of honesty and clarity. It's taken an hour to pay for my car parking at EMP. This company does not offer different ways to pay for car parking as their banners say. This is false information. The older generations will struggle getting online and downloading the app to pay. This company isn't working with EMR to encourage more train users. They should be ashamed.
What a disgusting unprofessional organisation.I have appealed a fine and the appeal referenced a car that was not mine. I have contacted the appeal company POPLA and they have not responded, I have also contacted their parent company and no one responded.APCOA without any contact after the appeal failed for a reg that isn't mine have just sent the fine through to a bully boy debt collection agency who are seemingly too thick to understand there is an issue and are choosing to just threaten me with legal action.If APCOA had any level of decency or professionalism they would have contacted me after the appeal with their final fine amount and I probably would have just paid even if the reg was wrong. As it is they have just passed this to a bully boy debt recovery business. APCOA should hang their heads in shame what a disgusting racket of bullies.Dirty disgusting tactics.
