This company is robbing a large number of people in Sweden by charging huge parking rentals without having any competitor to regulate the prices. I pay 1300 SEK per month for a parking in a massive parking place. There is no alternative!! They have a very poor customer service and rob people even more by tricky practices. They sent me the parking keys many days after the start of the contract. Now I want to terminate the contract. The terms are unclear and they extended it to the end of the year without without clear terms arbitrarily.
My wife inadvertently paid a PCN charge, without realising that she had paid by Ringo. We submitted this clear evidence to APCOA who refused a refund on the basis that, in paying the fine, my wife had effectively pleaded guilty. APCOA were clearly guilty of imposing a fine IN ERROR, but that clearly carries no weight with this immoral organisation.
Had a crazy day 15th Sept. Was supposed to land at 10pm at Stansted airport, we were delayed for almost 3 hours. Landed the next day. Husband drove in twice but paid both tickets for previous day instead of 15th and 16th ( few minutes delay) Spoke with James Finlay regarding matter and helped us resolve the issue. Thank you so much for your understanding and perfect customer service!
Having contested and had my appeal successful. (resulting in myself paying the initial £6 charge)I have been receiving letters from a debt collection agency to the current sum of £150After the first letter, I emailed apcoa and provided evidence of my appeal. They rejected that email and stated my appeal was rejected.. I can only assume without looking at the evidence.Today after trying to contact apcoa unsuccessfully.I decided to contact the debt recovery company instead, who were incredibly helpful and will hopefully be dealing with the matter with apcoa.Terrible customer service from apcoa. Possible breach of FCA principle 7 ( Not informing me or 3rd party debt recovery, of outcome of appeal)
PAINFULLY slow! I assume that the mobile data signal was poor in the area of the hospital car park so the digital confirmation code took 20 minutes to arrive! but, by then, I had asked for it to be resent! I spent 45 mins trying to get it to work before giving up! An hour and a half later, once I was home I received a digital code that worked!
Forgot to pay for parking at Didcot, as I was late for train. Contacted APCOA via Apcoa Connect as soon as I remembered the following morning. Leon advised I could pay the equivalent amount the day after (when not parking there). Well done Leon! All sorted painessly via sensible and practical solution.
Worst company I've ever had to deal with , they play unfair , they claim to have appeals process in yet I've never known anyone to get away with it . Ive spent half an hour on phone every day to be hung up on , or just ring out .I hope to god the government or someone sorts this mess out.
A dreadful company that genuinely doesn’t care about anyone using its services. It’s all about the profit. Like others here I was stung for rapid drop off parking payment and my appeal was refused without any consideration of the fact that their barriers and the payment machine were not working. I don’t know what I was expected to do. It’s a rip off for a few minutes parking at the best of times but did they expect me to park up and try and find someone so I went over the measly 5 minutes? To add insult to injury I’d been through the system and paid earlier in the day when it was actually working so it was clear that I wasn’t going to simply avoid payment deliberately. All in all just a money making racket with zero customer care or acceptance of their own technology shortcomings. Avoid at all costs.
I had inadvertently ended up at terminal 2 when trying to get to terminal 3. The cameras logged me at both terminals and therefore wanted 2 payments of £6.00. I contacted Chris Parry from the customer services team and explained I had ended up at terminal 2 in error but didn’t stop and drove out again and went to terminal 3 and dropped off the passenger. He removed the charge as he could see this was an error. Good work on using common sense and being understanding and fair in his decision.
Llandudno Junction train station: parking machine has sign staying machine no longer working. Other very confusing sign suggests payment by downloading another app. The elderly couple trying to pay didn't have a smart phone. I tried scanning QR code on my phone, didn't work. I phoned "Customer Service", remember we're all trying to catch a train, got automated recording with 9 choices, had to listen to all eight before getting to nine, phone rang and rang, no answer. We all gave up and parked in a residential area. Customer Service costs money for Apcoa, outgoings effect profit.
