Chichester station - I missed two trains trying to park my car. This parking company seems to be set up purely to issue parking fines. There is a qr code that allows you one days parking. An app that when you try to download it the keyboard gets stuck over the continue button so you cannot complete registration and a phone line that took 40 minutes to answer. Then Gave me a completely different website that was not phone friendly. The guy on the phone (who was very nice) suggested I do it on my computer. but why should that be necessary?who has their computer in their car when they’re parking at train station? All in all I am appalled by the lack of focus on the customers who are paying their wages. In a world where apps and are very sophisticated this is like going back to the Stone Age. I feel absolutely appalled that whoever runs the stations has allowed these people anywhere near their parking facility. I will find other parking in future and I will shout from the rooftops how awful these people are.
I was told they had changed their payment method when dropping off people at Manchester airport, so I registered online putting my car registration and bank card details on their system so if we visited the airport in the future they would take the charge automatically off our bank card?. But NO instead they send us two parking charges for our cars even though we had paid that night on our return home!!.I have just disputed yet another ticket as we have paid at the time!!This Company is run by complete idiots!!, you cannot even get through to people on the phone !!.No wonder Manchester airport is one of the most hated airports!!!😡
This company is just a bunch of money hungry individuals (certainly not human beings). Do not waste your time to appeal any fine or clamp release fee, even if you have a genuine reason, it will be rejected regardless of the circumstances. APCOA has no interest in providing better, safer and more accessible parking spaces, their only goal is to catch you out, and make you pay a fine!
Would be 0, if allowed...Used drop off at Manchester airport, and simply forgotten to pay after 2 hrs drive on motorway, rushing back to work...I think the removal of barriers was purely for this purpose, to bank on geniune mistakes. Apcoa practice at Manchester airport is a legal scam...
Like a few others have posted on here. I was hit by a £100 (£60 if paid within 14 days) fine after accidentally taking the wrong turn off a roundabout and driving through the T2 pick-up/drop-off area while looking for the T2 multistory car park. I was in the area for approx. 3 mins as shown by their own cameras. Again, as a few others have posted the signage was inadequate and as far as I know there was no other way out once taking that exit from the roundabout. I have appealed the fine. Definitely will avoid APCOA in the future.
I parked in Lewes on Remembrance Sunday. I have the App on my phone and have successfully previously used it. On this day I used the App to pay the Sunday fee of £2.70. I authorised payment using my online banking App: which showed the payment as pending. Just in case this hadn't gone through I did the same again, with the same results. When I was home that evening I sent an email to Apcoa to ask them to confirm payment had been taken as I didn't want a parking fine. The reply was to wait and see if I recieved a parking fine in the post. The easy thing would have been for a response where this was checked at that point, on the day and I could have made payment. Having tried to make payment 3 times, with Apcoa not taking payment, I appealed against the £100 fine. I have just recieved notification this has been rejected as I did not meet the terms. I met the terms, I authorised payment twice and tried to confirm/ make payment a third time. I used the App. There was Internet access as I authorised payment twice in my on line banking App. Apcoa did not take payment! I have previously recommended this car park to friends as it is right next to the cinema. I will be actively advising friends not to use it in future and I will delete tge App@
Absolutely bad service ! Drove to pick up friend to Luton airport. You only can pay online. Tried many times before going to airport. They didn't let to chose pick up time( time was shown only that I was trying to pay). Another option was- pay now. I did pay 7 £ (price for 5 mins stay). Now I got letter to pay parking charge 95£. Few of my friends had similar situation. Sure I am able to prove my payment online-bank statement,but... You have to waste time,nerves to prove you are not elephant .And that company (apcoa) also wasting time of their stuff-to print,to post letter,to use/waste/ paper-envelop and etc..
