There app wasn't working, after trying to pay twice. No other way of paying so my wife went to her appointment, when she came back they wouldn't send someone out without paying first. It was explained to them that the person was Deaf and couldn't talk on the phone. They didn't care at all. So she had to give her credit card to a stranger she met in the carpark to pay for something she should have been able to do herself. Shame on this company and the people who work there.
I mistakenly booked the wrong family car.Downside, it would seem that you can not cancel a booking on the app, so I booked the other car, and then emailed to ask for a refund on the first car. The response was very quick, and the refund is on its way to me. Thank you to the very efficient Emma, who dealt with the matter.
Where are the Barriers at the exit of the airport gone..yet another scam .. This is because you know removing the Barriers that you can make so much money in fines by removing these Barriers why can you not pay at a machine like we did before we tried but it was for only people how had a flight ticket this then once you get to the Barriers you insert the ticket from the machine you payed for your parking at the airport This is because you can make much more money from people how have paid for parking and thats why you send these fines out even if anyone as paid. just think about it...how many people would pay the fine rather than go though all this ...shame on you.... as soon as you appeal against this decision you loose the right to pay the sixty pounds fine I paid for my parking on the Internet at the airport as requested ..its a absolute disgrace it a money making Business to make paying for you car parking on line and many people have very difficulty in paying But I did pay ive got the proof ..this happened to 3 of my friend and there are thousands on the Internet about this company scamming people like this ..
Would like to say ‘no star’ I dropped of family at Stansted’s Airport drop off point drove out noticed no barrier to go through to pay so followed cars in front. Thought maybe get small bill amount via the post. I did £100!! Look I am 85 yrs old but I am not a fool I recognise con merchants. So this is going to the National Press pronto
Please check your system before sending letters for penalty notices! Second time you have wasted paper, when I’ve proved I have paid, you are wasting your time and wasting my time.. this time I’m sending you a bill for wasting my time appealing and the stress caused for the inconvenience.
In Luton airport on 19.09 they charge me 35£ for 15min in drop off when should be free .when i make complain they say the charge me correctly and now is not more drop off … and even now for one h they should charge me 15£ not 35£ …they stilling the money .with all the proof and evrething .
My mum recently received a fine from APCOA Parking at Stansted Airport. She is disabled and does not speak English, which already makes travel extremely challenging for her. Despite this, APCOA showed absolutely no compassion or understanding. She DID pay the fee — but made the payment three days after entering the car park due to her circumstances. We appealed, explained the situation clearly, and submitted evidence, yet the appeal was rejected without any sign that her disability or language barrier was considered at all.It is deeply concerning that a company operating at a major UK airport — where vulnerable passengers are common — appears to have zero empathy or flexibility. Penalising a disabled person for a genuine mistake, when payment was ultimately made, is disgraceful. This experience has left us feeling frustrated and appalled. A truly disgusting way to treat disabled customers. APCOA should be ashamed and urgently review how they handle cases involving vulnerable individuals.
Trying to find Manchester Airport T2 Meet and Greet carpark at night accidentally took wrong turning off roundabout into the APCOA drop off area. Drove through still trying to find M&G. Received £60 charge notice having spent less than 2 minutes in the area according to their cameras. Won appeal. They said that no charge decision was discretionary and [imo] threatened action if it happened again. It won't. As far as we could see, inadequate signage after dark and no visible warning that, in effect, you are charged for passing through that area which has, as far as I know, no way back to the roundabout if you enter by mistake. Will avoid APCOA facilities in future.
I forgot to pay for drop off at Manchester Airport Terminal 1 until a day and a half later. Attempted to pay as soon as I remembered, and well within 48 hours of the drop off, but as the deadline is midnight the day after drop off the APCOA website wouldn't take the payment. Seriously unimpressed with Manchester Airport and APCOA for the short time frame to pay and the extortionate charge for failing to pay within time. This feels like a nasty and cynical money making scheme and from now on I shall avoid using Manchester Airport and APCOA car parks.
Got £100 fine for taking wrong turn in the dark at Manchester T2 (looking for meet and greet) and not being able to turn around as it’s one way. So many cameras - they set me loads of pics of my car - surely they would see I hadn’t stopped or disembarked! Appealed it and got the best patronising, passive/aggressive letter ever telling me on this occasion they would let it go and they wouldn’t be so forgiving next time as it is actually my fault because I couldn’t read signs! Absolute joke - sort your weird system out and check your cameras before wasting paper and scaring people!
