Full and extensive investigation of the irregular fault with my boiler. Between the engineer on site and his backup support from the office the fault was identified , the boiler ignition settings were adjusted and fire fires up silently.. Thanks
It took about 3 weeks to fix my ATAG boiler which Ariston kindly bought out the company ATAG, which undoubtedly will mean a lack of supply of parts i may need in the future . I belted home for an appt to fix it (as if you’re not there at home they will bill you £600 for non attendance) only to find no engineer , as they had cancelled the appt via email 2 hours before . So where’s my £600 for engineer non attendance then ? I guess that, after the warranty period on he atag expires , when it breaks down next it will be scrap due to no parts .Not a happy bunny right now . The part took 2-3 weeks to arrive , the part was for sale on eBay for next day delivery btw.Only bonus we had ,was it saved £100 on gas as it wasn’t working . Log burner was in overtime .
The technician was friendly and helpful. We had a leaking problem which was not resolved with the first valve replacement so they had to get more replacements as the boiler started leaking 5 days later. There was a delay in getting the rest of the parts in which the leak got worse but after a call informing them it was done quickly. thank you Andy.
I booked a warranty appointment for my boiler, it was prompt, staff on the telephone were very helpful, the engineer attended and was superb. Changed the necessary part. Great Work - keep up the great service, many thanks.
Bought a brand new Static which has the Ariston boiler fitted. Our gas engineer came to commission our boiler which serves hot water and radiators. This boiler is brand new never been used. We have warranty on the boiler. They noticed the water pipes leaking on start up so they couldn’t continue to commission it. They on our behalf contacted Ariston to attend to solve the leak. Ariston engineer said he couldn’t mend it due to the boiler needing emptying and refilling. As our sites water is now turned off until March 2025. He said he can’t mend it until March even though he had the replacement part in his van. Today they’ve sent us a call out fee of £99 which they say it’s a non warranty call out. Am I missing something here, why is a brand new boiler never used not under warranty. It’s not a leak on the water pipe into the van, it’s on the pipe work that was already on their boiler.
Can't fault the engineer who arrived, very friendly. But the fact that despite stati g what the exact issue was to the service reps who booked the appointment, the engineer was sent without parts to repair the fault, resulting in a wasted day off work to accommodate the booking and will require another to hopefully resolve the issue. All day appointments are given, where a timed slot could be booked, overall poor service varying the engineer themselves.
Ariston combi boiler had 9 breakdowns in 1 week with two service visits. Our recent engineer who visited yesterday said at last I think we have been sent the correct parts. Indeed once repaired it has worked perfectly for two days
no problems with Ariston,very easy and quick, sub contract enginneer has a vendetta against previouce cotractor that installed our boiler,always looking for installation faults,to stop him working on it,still have faults after last visit.
