I recently obtained my CIPD Level 5 qualification in People Management. My tutor Britt Webster is like sunshine in human form, always very positive and encouraging throughout the course. I am grateful to Britt, Michael and Mark for their help in the various modules. The course in itself was quite challenging while holding down a full-time job but I am glad to have finished it. Unlike many other providers, Avado has deadlines for each assessment and this helped me in completing each module within the 11 month period instead of prolonging it at one's own pace. I have known three colleagues who have tried other providers but eventually left their courses because there were no deadlines and they weren't motivated to continue. My only critical observation would be that some of the material does not help in directly framing answers for some assessment questions but the tutors more than made up for it during their sessions.
I was struggling with considering whether to continue with my course or go through an alternatively route for my CIPD certificate due to my super busy work and family life. I called Avado and Elbin was very, understanding with me, he understood my complex questions, and was able to provide me with multiple alternatives options that i didnt even think of in progressing with my studies. I was going to give up the course route, as it didnt really suit my schedule, I took onboarding his options, made my choice from there and i am pleased I spoke him. Thank you for understanding my struggle, and being very understanding and supportive. Happy I can continue my studies. Thank you Elbin.
I’m currently pursuing my CIPD course with Avado, and it’s been a truly rewarding learning experience so far. The course content is well-structured, interactive, and designed to give a clear understanding of real HR practices. The online platform is easy to navigate, and the flexibility allows me to learn at my own pace while balancing work commitments.I’d also like to mention Elbin, my student support assistant, who has been extremely helpful and patient in addressing all my queries. His prompt responses and guidance have made the overall experience smooth and stress-free.
The Avado structure of teaching with little videos and online sessions being solely on the assessments instead of having any sessions on teaching the material was not what I expected but assessments were very clearly laid out. I was also disappointed there was not a fostering of a community for each class, however my cohort created a WhatsApp group (against Avado's wishes) which really helped with understanding at the start, motivation, and not feeling so alone with the online learning. I would though like to highlight our Tutor Britt, who was great! Always very positive and when asked a question she always did so promptly, with lots of info, and with passion.
Despite having a few issues throughout the course with logging into the online portal the experience has been a positive one!Britt Webster has been a great tutor always starting the tutor sessions so warm and welcoming and providing clear guidance for each AC and following up with countless links for further reading. Outside of the sessions she is equally great with swift and informative replies with an overall encouraging nature.
I had a great experience with Arpita from the Avado Student Support Team. She was very helpful with my enquiry and made sure I received all the information and support I needed. Her communication was clear, friendly, and professional throughout. I really appreciate her assistance and the excellent service provided.
Terrible service, no help given whatsoever. Customer service process is a sham, no one even attempts to help. 1 customer service adviser caron refuses to call me and insists on sending me unhelpful emails and then force closes my "ticket". When I call back to explain another customer advisor called Remi told me she could not help me I had to wait 3 days for Caron to reply and then hung up the phone on me. No understanding or empathy for the stress that working full time, running a home life and studying has on people. Raised 2 pervious complaints that were not resolved but instead tickets were forced closed and then remi on customer services informs me there is a100% complaint resolution which is a lie.Do not use.
