Review Time
I have very recently completed my level 5 CIPD at Avado and must say my experience was 10/10. There were a couple of things that could’ve been better (minor) that I will explain, but overall, in my opinion, it was a FANTASTIC learning experience and I cannot recommend them enough.Cons:- Avado were late to release marks on a couple of occasions due to them “receiving a high volume of submissions”. Whilst I appreciate this - things happen - it is still very frustrating and nerve-wracking for the learner, who is left to wait weeks for their marks…. Considering we work our socks off to meet essay deadlines at our end, but then there are delays at their end, it is very disappointing. This resulted in my work missing the Sept moderation window and being put in the Nov window instead!Pros:- Britt Webster, Michael Ranft and Mark Beecham (I believe Mark has now left Avado) are ANGELS!!!!!! 3 fantastic humans, each with unique teaching styles, who want nothing but for us to succeed - I couldn’t have got through this course if it wasn’t for them. Their dedicated time, support and guidance, was truly appreciated and allowed me to excel in this course. Their teaching styles, passion and direction really brought the course to life and I thoroughly enjoyed every tutor support session & cohort cafe. - The content on the Avado platform is great, so interactive and very informative. The student query ticketing system was also very good. The “tutor updates” each tutor sends is also brilliant and genuinely helped me pass each essay!- Lastly, Britt deserves a special shoutout. I fell behind in my course a few times, due to extenuating circumstances (critical family illness) and she always supported me, allowed for extensions and made sure I was ok & not stressing. I will forever be grateful for Brit’s care and support! THANK YOU!All that’s left to say is…… BOOK YOUR CIPD WITH AVADO TODAY! ;)
I started this course feeling quite overwhelmed, but the support and guidance from Britt and the team at Avado have made a huge difference. Self-directed learning can be challenging, but the tutor input, feedback, and practical tips along the way have been invaluable. I’ve really benefited from their encouragement and advice throughout my CIPD journey.
I dealt with an agent initially who wasn't able to resolve my issue and just closed my case. I then called up and spoke to a man called Mark who was from a different team but very helpful. I then contacted the student success team again and was connected to an agent called Caron. My anxiety about restarting my course soon disappeared. Caron was extremely understanding of my situation and then went above and beyond to transfer me over to the new course. She kept me informed - and was a single point of contact for me. As someone with ADHD - this was extremely beneficial for me as I struggle to articulate when dealing with new people. Thankyou so much :)
