My tutor Britt Webster is just the best. Her sessions are so structured and organised. I was so overwhelmed when I first signed up to my CIPD level 5 but by the end of my first tutor session - I knew I was going to be ok. Britt, your whiteboards are amazing!!
Britt Webster at Avado has been an outstanding tutor. Her sessions were consistently clear and informative and she always followed up with a wealth of resources for further study. Outside of sessions, she’s been incredibly responsive and helpful—nothing has ever been too much trouble.
I had a fantastic experience studying my CIPD qualification with Avado. CIPD as a certication is expensive and I do not only refer to Avado but all the other learning providers too. The learning experience with AVADO is quite nice. The learning model is self-study - so one has to rely on the content provided by AVADO which is just ok. They have structured it well by breaking it down into sub-topics etc. However I would have expected it to be a bit better with them adding links to each topic in the module itself. There are resource links in a separate section which makes for separate reading but you would have to navigate out of the page to access that. What I appreciate though is the quality of the instruction and the instructors who are good at what they do. They are very patient and guide you with your doubts during the tutorials - esp Britt Webster and Mark Beacham. They deserve a special mention for demonstrating professionalism of the highest standards in their tutoring.
If you are considering studying with Avado, I would strongly advise you to think very carefully. My experience has been extremely disappointing. Once they had my payment, there was little to no genuine support. Their approach felt transactional rather than educational, with no real empathy or flexibility for learners who encounter challenges.What became clear to me is that Avado is far more focused on keeping hold of money than ensuring students succeed. Communication was poor, and when issues were raised, the response was dismissive rather than constructive. For an organisation that positions itself as a professional training provider, the lack of care and accountability is shocking.There are plenty of other providers who actually value their learners and put their progress first. In my opinion, Avado is not one of them. I regret choosing them and would not recommend them to anyone serious about their professional development.Additional information (for Avado’s response team):Speak to Avado staff, as well as CIPD, already hold full details of my case, Avado appear to prefer withholding the £2,610 despite errors in marking, 4 month delay in the CIPD registration (required to complete the course).I no longer wish to deal with this matter privately, as Avado’s approach seems designed to brush issues under the carpet and wear customers down. Despite holding all my details, Avado have never once picked up the phone to speak with me, so please do not claim to value customer service when my lived experience demonstrates otherwise.Still no contact via telephone by Avado.
Britt Webster is the most organised and structured tutor I’ve had on the CIPD Level 5 course with Avado. Her tutorials are clear, focused, and run exactly as a good lesson should, with helpful recaps and further reading to reinforce learning.She follows up promptly with excellent resources and is always responsive to questions, which makes a real difference when studying remotely. Having taught myself, I can recognise a great teacher instantly. Britt has all the qualities: clarity, preparation, and the ability to engage. If she ever stepped into a traditional classroom, I have no doubt she would excel there too.She has genuinely enhanced my learning experience, and I would highly recommend her to any CIPD student. Avado are lucky to have her.
They are very welcoming when you first start, the payment leaves you're account very punctually and smoothly. But during the course you start to see the lack of attention you receive from them, they never answer you directly and they are very restrictive towards you, because they can do whatever they want. I'm trying for a month to solve my situation with them. sent them multiple email proving that I'm telling the truth, called multiple times, but they don't even bother to read it or listen, they just answered the same thing, forcing me to go in circles with this situation, waisting everybody's time. They only want your money!
