Completed the CIPD Diploma Level 3 in HR with Avado. Highly recommend Abbie Kirkham - a great tutor with a wealth of knowledge, lovely delivery and support. Very patient with bringing the whole group along too!Avado course was a good range of formats the only thing that let it down a bit was the quality of materials. Quite a few typos across all content and the VOs weren't professional voiceovers which was a shame and reduced the engagement level in some of the videos/summary content. However, would use Avado again in the future.
Throughout my entire 18 month apprenticeship, Krutika has been an outstanding Learning Development Coach. She went out of her way to answer all of my questions, address all of my concerns and support all of my needs as an apprentice. This is so important when starting a new career field and Krutika's understanding of this really put me at ease, which allowed me to focus on my work and studies. Krutika is an exemplary LDC and I genuinely hope that other apprentices are also fortunate enough to have an LDC that is as enthusiastic, committed and supportive as her. You're truly an asset to Arch. Thank you so much!
I did the CIPD Level 3 in People Practice with Avado. Very well set up. Great online tutorials and support when needed. Out tutor was lovely and very easy to approach and was always available to assist.Would definitely recommend and I will use again when I do my Level 5.
TLDR:- Avado and its tutors never hold themselves accountable- There is no care for students- Even when the issue is not your fault as a student, Avado and its tutors think it's never their problem (wrong submission dates making it impossible to submit) - The 'interactive lessons' are dull and mostly read from a PowerPoint, which makes it really hard for you to actually withdraw the seconds of useful important information that you need. - Students are left in the dark, when I logged into the forum there were 5 separate people asking the same question I wanted to ask, and yet the tutor reply to all was basically 'email me', where is the collective communication? My experience:Avado and my experience of the tutors hired is very poor. There is no general help given, even when the issues are affecting all students. There are really big mistakes ignored, even when I personally emailed my tutor about an issue with a deadline ending before it was even possible to upload work, it was made out that I was struggling to use the platform and need to learn how to use it, and rather than emailing her I needed to call so she could properly explain this and stop 'to-ing and fro-ing'. Well a few weeks later, on the day of the deadline, the same tutor put a post in the forum saying there was an issue discovered with the deadline and submission time which will be fixed. I never received an apology or explanation as to why my concern about the deadline was ignored.Students are ignored, no care is given, and the course becomes more stressful than it should be because of the inaction of tutors.Avado - I'm sure if you speak to your October cohort tutors she will recall the multiple emails I sent to her expressing my concern for the course and its incorrect submission dates, I'm sure she can provide you with my name and help you to locate me within the October 21 cohort
