I had a meeting with Jay Patel today to discuss a funeral plan. Not something that you really want to think about. Jay was very helpful and professional and discussed all the options available. I eventually settled on the basic plan which met all of my needs. I would not hesitate to recommend Avalon.
I had a very i formative meeting with Andy Durrant, who was extremely helpful and considerate, I have terminal cancer and it's very hard to talk about your own funeral, but Andy took us through it slowly and with empathy, and gave us the reassurance we needed. I would recommend him to anyone in need of a funeral plan. Thank you Andy
The agent who came to explain about Avalons funeral plans, was, knowledgeable, polite, and his diction was clear and to the point, we both enjoyed the presentation. The meeting with Mike Thornton at our home was very clear and informative. The different plans available were explained in a relaxed manner with no pressure to sign up. Payment options are perfect and the Life locker is a great idea.After a few days we had a phone conversation with Mike where our questions were answered clearly, after which we were happy to sign up to our preferred plan.Customer services were very helpful and payment was very straightforward.Thank you Avalon and especially a big thank you to Mike.
Made an enquiry via facebook following an advert and previous recommendation from friends who had already taken out plans with Avalon. Received a call back within 48 hours from a very pleasant lady who subsequently booked a visit for a few days later. Gavin Paskin arrived for the appointment in good time and spent time running through the options and appropriate costs, he was extremely pleasant and explained everything in a clear and precise manner, no hard sell left us with the relevant information for us to look over. We made another appointment for Gavin to return to complete the required paperwork. The following day we received by email a copy of the full paperwork, whilst we await the originals. With of course the added bonus of being backed by the FCA in the UK and covering us both for Spain & England at no additional fee. So far so good.
Jay came to see me and my husband I. He was very professional, went through all the options, and after about an hour and a half we decided to go ahead with a plan each, valid in Spain and the Uk. Avalon have followed up with several e mails, and we are just waiting for the documentation in the post.
My mum died unexpectedly, her neighbour was assisted by police to find her peacefully in her bed. Avalon was in touch within 4 hours and has been exceptionally helpful and supportive throughout the last 2 weeks. The celebrant Sonia and all staff at the Tanatorio were fantastic, the service and preparations beforehand went very smoothly. Our request to accommodate 5 songs was met and the photos we gave were prepared into a wonderful montage of our mum. Thank you, I couldn't recommend Avalon enough. 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟🕯🕊
