Review Time
Andy came to visit us at our home. He made us feel very at ease and talked through everything with us. He answered all our questions. The whole process was very straightforward. Having our wishes in place has made us feel a lot more at ease and more importantly we feel we are not alone if the worst was to happen.
Factual, responded to questions and clarifications, and yet an informality that could have been a difficult conversation. Jay did not come across as defensive but wanted to ensure that I understood all that was being said. Despite my story telling he kept the conversation on track and within the time frame he had indicated it would take. His style wanted to keep focused but at the same time at ease and relaxed in his presentation. He showed he has a sense of humour but this only emerged at my lead. He was polite enough to laugh at all my jokes.
Alan has the patience of a saint! For two and a half years he skillfully balanced between keeping in touch without the hard sell. Although there was a lot of information he gave a clear and concise presentation and despite the difficult subject he kept it light.
I had a visit from Jay Patel on Wednesday 3rd December. He went through all the options and plans in a friendly and efficient way making me feel completely comfortable with the plan that I chose,I would recommend Avalon to anyone thinking of putting a funeral plan in place.
At last, I bit the bullet, and contacted Avalon to make an appointment to discuss the plans they had on offer. An appointment was given to me for a few days later, at my home, and bang on time, Alan Richardson, Avalon's client consultant arrived at my address. He went through every plan and scenario that was open yo me, in clear, concise terms, I asked a mountain of questions, which he answered. The appointment/conversation is recorded, to protect the customer and the consultant. I asked if I could have some time to go over the different plans/payment options, and another appointment was made for a week later. There was no 'hard sell', no pressure to sign anything. A week later, last Thursday, Alan again arrived bang on time, and a few more questions from me, and I took out the Plus Plan. The whole experience from start to finish was easy and seam free. Well done Avalon and Alan, very professional company, thank you.
