I have been working with Avasam for several months now and the experience has been great. I can tell you that Maalav is one of the biggest assets that there consultation team has.He is very quick to respond with very impactful information.
Very bad experience! 1. Product prices are updating after several hours meaning that in this time customers can purchase with the regular price which supplier provided and you’ll not earn anything.2. Products description is misleading and written poorly, you’ll have to pay extra for their AI to generate descriptions for your products if you plan to import them to other platforms.3. You’ll be able to cancel your subscription only if you’ll book a call with them .4. I requested a refund through their internal chat and they keep telling me they will refund me, I’ve called their support line, asked for a refund and a confirmation email for it and instead of getting an invoice showing the amount which will be refunded, date and company, I get an AI generated email from support team which saying my money is on the way.5. It’s a scam, don’t buy their service, they will take your money and you’ll not be able to get anything back.6. 90% of the 5 ⭐️ star reviews here are written by people who never reviewed other businesses or services before, it’s their first and last review on this platform, check further on this page and see yourself !
Whiist only recently signing up with Avasam and thus too early to see any meaningful results, I must make a couple of observations.1) Site functionality on iOS mobile - recently @ 2-3 days ago Avasam made some updates reducing supplier catalogue product view from 2 x Columns to just x 1 so taking longer to view and source products.2) The bright pink Chat Button covers the blue Next button when trying to list. Can the option or functionality not be present to slide this chat button elsewhere on screen so that the Next button is accessible and clickable?3) Avasam seem to spend a lot of time from multiple aliedged employees sending out relentless marketing emails which Gmail mostly sends to the spamFolder!!! Tone it down guys and gals please, far too many bombardments if these mails.4) Most items sourced are being sold for less than wholesale elsewhere via eBay and onbuy etc and in sure many supposed wholesale suppliers are also retailing product to the public.Wholesale shouid mean exactly that and only to the Trade and ideally registered and VAT registered businesses as there is an unlevel playing field where non vat registered have a competetIve advantage and sell cheaper than vat registered.It would be interesting to see how many Avasam users are Vat registered vs those that are not.Government did run a consultation on this back in 2018 I believe but no idea what the results were or what became of it.Avasam appear not to be wholesalers themselves but just a venue hosting and bringing other Wholesalers together who list product individually themselves via their own sign in portal and Avasam derives its income from charging them for use of the Avasam platform.Avasam has no control over these supplies or the prices they choose to set and whiist these prices are supposed to be wholesale in fact are closer to retail or higher than retail being charged for their products.Do some research before signing up.For me, it’s very early days so cannot comment on whether the Avasam model is workable but Avasam could spend its staff time much better by liaising with suppliers to ensure they are actually wholesalers and prices offered via the Avasam platform are actually wholesale rather than retail or above retail rather than 6 or so staff all sending out an endless stream of marketing emails.
