When I stopped playing rugby to be there for my family I was the heaviest I’d ever been. I’d wander into the gym with no real plan, wing it, eat well Monday to Thursday, then write the weekend off completely.
I knew what I should be doing I’ve played sport most of my life but I had no direction with it all. But I remember trying to get down on the floor to play with my little boy and it was harder than it should’ve been and was when I hit Dan up.
He was really accommodating because what gave me wasn’t an extreme overhaul so I could still enjoy weekends with my son, still go away with my partner, and not feel too restricted so I was chuffed with that.
I lost 17 kilograms in 16 weeks which is cool but more than that I’ve got purpose again. I can get on the floor with my boy without wincing and I can keep up with him. I feel like myself again. Great program thanks Dan.
I was the chronic yo-yo dieter who everyone expected to stay that way but I was done making excuses. I’m a dad of four. I was putting all my effort into my business but I forgot to look after myself and it caught up with me. I hit 35 and something changed. With twins and a three year old the lack of sleep was relentless. I had a holiday to Dubai coming up with my wife and son and I made a decision I wasn’t going out there looking like I did because I didn’t like how I felt about myself. I like eating out with my partner, watching Liverpool with a pint and I wasn’t prepared to give all that up because I’ve tried the extreme stuff before nd it wasn’t for me.Within two days of speaking to Dan a nurse was at my house taking bloods and the results flagged a few things nothing dramatic, but enough to work with so we made some adjustments and that’s what got me just how simple it was. I didn’t have to overhaul everything, when I went to Dubai in the best shape of my life I actually had abs at 50 years old and I felt like I still had it. I feel proud that my son is growing up watching his dad take care of himself and that means more to me than any number on a scale. I recommend Dan to all my mates as he’s great at what he does.
I turn 60 next year and I'm in the best shape that I've been in for years, thanks to the work I've been doing with Dan. Let's face it, as we get older, staying in shape is not as easy. If it was easy, everyone would be in shape. Dan has helped me not only with what to do and how to do it, but crucially, the mindset. The result is that I've got in great shape and have stayed there. I’d bought programs from a couple of well-known guys online.
