Sadly our dog passed away late on the Friday night of a bank holiday weekend. We contacted Barnshaw Pet Crematorium on Saturday morning and to our relief we were able to arrange a cremation for the same day. Losing a pet is a very upsetting time, but we were treated really well throughout the process with empathy and dignity. From the first contact by phone. through the delivery to the crematorium to the collection of the ashes, the service was thoughtful and efficient and we were able to scatter her ashes the same weekend whist the family was at home.If you should have the missfortune to lose a pet we would thoroughly recommend the services of Barnshaw Pet Crematorium.
Thankyou so much Chris & DiFrom the moment of the first phone call regarding the sudden loss our baby boy Max . They collected Max from the vets on the same day and sent a message to us when Max had arrived We went to see them that afternoon we wanted Max wrapped up in his 2 favourite fleece blankets we described how Max would wrap himself in them and when we saw Max they had done it perfectly , Chris & Di were so helpful ,understanding, sincere, caring and loving the crematorium was beautiful and peaceful we knew / felt that Max was at peace and knowing Chris and Di would be caring to Max they are the most amazing caring people we have ever met and even though we were grieving and in disbelief that Max had been taken to soon Chris and Di were so understanding, compassionate and caring we then went through different ways to keep Max ashes safe. We chose the engraved photo ashes frame and when we went back next day to bring Max home we were given the most beautiful memorial in a gift bag inside was Max hair clipping, his paw print, and ashes for jewellery a individual cremated certificate his collar and a beautiful sympathy card. Knowing that when we brought max home we had only max it meant so much knowing all of Max was home. We highly recommend Chris & Di and We cannot express enough just how much we are so thankful for all the respect, love,care understanding and compassion you showed for Max and us . Barnshaw pet crematorium were very kind and caring throughout the whole process and made the experience of losing our beloved cat much easier. The turn around of receiving the ashes was very quick compared to the longer wait we would have had if we had gone with the usual services that vets use! The personal touches that were made were very thoughtful and we really appreciated them! If I ever lost another pet in the future I would definitely continue to use Barnshaw’s services.
Diane was genuinely sympathetic and empathetic regarding the sudden loss of our beloved best friend and pet Tank.She listened to our wishes and acted empathetically and showed us great kindness, and compassion.I would highly recommend Barnshaw Pet cremation
Di was very sympathetic to our needs when we asked for her services for Rudy, our much loved 18 year old cat. I'm so glad I researched rather than go through our vets for the cremation as that did not come with a personal touch at all and was more expensive as well! We also got to choose how we wanted Rudy's ashes to be presented as they had a very good range of caskets etc. We chose a gorgeous little oak tealight holder which had some of his ashes in a compartment underneath and both that and his casket were engraved and were presented with a certificate and a card. A lot of thought has gone into this and we very much appreciated how everything was dealt with. We also have other pets and know that when the time comes we will not hesitate to use Barnshaw again.Thank you so much for making everything a little easier for us x
Our old girl had her last service with Barnshaw Pet Crematorium. Di & Chris came immediately after a phone call to take care of Lizzie’s body while we were devastated. Had Lizzie’s ashes back in a same day. Thank you Chris & Di and the Barnshaw.
