Could not fault this service. It’s very difficult losing a pet and Chris and Di and Ollie the vet all provided five star service. Our Phil was cremated and the following day we were sent his ashes. Communication was excellent as was the very personal service.
Thank you Di for your care, compassion and empathy at a very distressing time for us. Being able to take that last journey with our beautiful Yekaterina and spending a little time saying goodbye under the large oak tree was precious and a cherished memory at a very sad time. Thank you for how smooth and swift the whole process was which enabled me to collect her and bring her home on the same day. Thank you too for the 'extras' such as a beautifully engraved heart and bow when I collected her ashes - a part I was dreading but you made easier by showing so much care. We are heartbroken but you made that part of our journey easier and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend you to anyone else in similarly sad circumstances.
From the very first phone call speaking to Di, she could not have done enough for us.We took our Gorgeous George the next day to Barnshaw Pet Crematorium where we were met with Chris. As you can imagine we were distraught after losing our beautiful family dog, Chris was so accommodating and nothing was too much trouble.We collected George within a few hours in a beautiful casket with a few personal touches.Thank you Chris & Di for everything,Lee & Leigh Mackenzie.

On losing our family dog on a Sunday, Barnshaw were sensitive and flexible, making a very difficult time more bearable. His ashes were ready for us to collect the next morning and everything was dealt with in a compassionate way. An excellent service.
I wouldn't say Barnshaw was excellent, I would say they were absolutely outstanding! I couldn't thank Di and Chris enough for their help and empathy. An incredibly fast and caring service. I contacted them on the Monday afternoon and drove our beautiful boy to them the following morning. I can honestly say it's helped us all process the loss and make the grieving process easier. A beautiful presentation casket with engraving. I will use them again when the time comes and recommend highly. Thank you both x
After Peanut, unfortunately, passed away, we knew we wanted him privately cremated. The vet, unfortunately, took a less than sensitive approach when it came to cremation so we are ever so thankful we stumbled across Barnshaw. They took care of everything, with such a personalised service- they collected him from the vet and even allowed us to pick him up from Eastbourne after as it was more convenient for us. There were so many little touches that made the whole process for us a lot easier, we really felt they looked after Peanut. Would highly recommend their services.
We called Barnshaw Farm Pet Cremation on late Saturday morning in the knowledge that our dear 16 year old dog, Scrat, was struggling and the decision to call the vet out had just been made. Di was both sympathetic and empathetic and explained that she could organise everything for us as soon as we needed (24 hour service offer is a huge plus). We drove to Barnshaw Farm shortly after our beloved Scrat had been put down and were comforted to find such a pleasant place for the final act to be carried out. Scrat’s ashes were ready for us to collect in less than 24 hours, presented in an attractive cardboard container with a personalised cardboard heart and this attention to detail made our heartbreak more bearable than it would otherwise have been. We are very grateful from start to finish for looking after our special Millie moo. We Can not thank them enough on how we was treated. The kindness we received. The communication we had. How she spoke to her whilst cutting locks of her fur for us to keep. On how she told us she spoke to her and told her how much she was loved by us all and how special and what a beautiful girl she was. How we got her back home where she belonged on the same day. How sympathetic she was towards our sadness. How we touched her heart on how heart broken we were. Will definitely recommend.Thank you for all you done for us Ellis family xx
