Chris made it extra special by being understanding and caring at this sad time for us. he came in the middle of the night to pick up our dog pooch.The small touches of pooches name on the bag and card made a world of difference.We were able to pick up pooch the same day and bring her home thank you so much to chris and team .
I couldn’t fault the service provided by Chris and Di, we called on the day Charlie passed away and they made every effort to meet any needs and requests we had. Chris collected Charlie from the vets the same day (we worried that he would be there for a long time) and kept us in the loop the whole time, so we knew exactly where Charlie was. If you require a service that is professional yet so personal and affordable, these are the perfect people for you.Thank you so much for supporting us in a time that already feels impossible.
We have used Barnshaw previously and returned because of the very personal service, they are great value for money and literally love animals.The owners Diane and Chris are genuine people, you feel the warmth and care as soon as you enter their premises. I am a funeral director and can say if they were not caring for animals would be excellent helping human families. I cannot recommend Diane and Chris enough beautiful people who will care for your loved pet.
Silver Gate Vets and Barnshaw pet crematorium where amazing, it was such a horrible time for our family to have to say goodbye to our Charlie, they were kind and thoughtful throughout the whole thing! Both my wife and I would struggle to find words that would convey our admiration, thanks and appreciation for the care and kindness of both Chris and Di of Barnshaw Pet Crematorium.They stepped in during a time of great distress after our beloved dog Brinks passed away suddenly and came and collected him next morning for his final journey.They were total professionals, very caring, giving advice and understanding while we were still in a tornado of grief. When we lost our cat suddenly, Chris saw us that day and was so compassionate, kind and caring. Everything was spoken through and handled with care. They made this emotional situation feel less overwhelming and there was no rush to say our goodbyes. Pick up was fast, so was nice to bring our boy home when we was ready, where everything was beautifully handed over. They are fantastic at what they do and I highly recommend their excellent service.

It was the hardest thing we have had to do but Michaela the vet and Chris from Barnshaw were so lovely and gave us plenty of time to say our goodbyes. We were able to pick Hooch’s ashes up the next day and they were presented in a lovely container with a beautiful card. Thank you so much for everything.
I can’t explain how amazing our experience was here. There is something about the people and locations that make this the most lovely place at the worst of times. We were treated with such kindness and our cherished Skittles was cared for in such a beautiful way. I hope that no one need to suffer a loss of a beloved pet but if you do I can assure you they will be well looked after at Barnshaw.
