I can't recommend Barnshaw enough. From the moment we arrived Di met us with calmness and kindness at an extremely stressful and upsetting time. Correspondence was quick and all our questions were answered. Our beautiful Buddy was treated with respect and we were able to pick him up the following day. Thank you so much Di and Chris
When I was at my very saddest point after saying goodbye to my gorgeous cat Joe,the wonderful Diane from Barnshaw vet crematorium came and looked after his cremation. Everything was so kind and simple and I felt supported through the whole process. meeting such lovely people at a very terrible time has made it the best it could be. Thank you with my whole heart to Chris & Diane.
Diane & Chris could not have shown more empathy or kindness at a very tough time. They managed to ask all the right questions to draw out the funny & lovely memories we have of Finbar our 17 year old westie & show an amazing amount of compassion for what we were going through.Their empathy & understanding for what we needed when we didn’t even know ourselves we will be always incredibly grateful for.Thank you 🐾
Thank you so much for looking after Tommy who we sadly lost 30-12-24, the care we received was so heartfelt, caring and understanding, the painful loss we were suffering as a family was immense but you couldn’t have been kinder.We received our Tommy back the very next day, the care taken with the items we had chosen was just perfect and we will treasure these forever.Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, we knew exactly where our Tommy was in a beautiful setting and now he’s home safely with his family where he belongs♥️🐾♥️
Di and Chris are just the most compassionate couple, they have respectfully cremated 2 of our beloved dogs. At such an emotional time for us, they couldn't have been more accommodating, kind and supportive. I would highly recommend them to anyone who has lost their furry friend.
We fully recommend Barnshaw and thank Chris and Diane for taking such good care of our girl Molly who died at home on Tuesday. Chris arrived within an hour or so of our phone call and was very kind, caring and reassuring. We collected Molly's ashes on Friday, beautifully presented from a lovely room and our spirits were truly uplifted. We're so grateful.
Just wanted to say a massive thank you to Diane and Chris. I cannot recommend them enough, we had total peace of mind, what wonderful people.When my husband brought our 15 year old dogs ashes home I couldn’t believe the attention to detail and loving touches that you provide 🥰 The card and certificate are a lovely idea, the wooden tag tied onto the bag with his name on, and his paw print…it was ALL just soooo beautifully done, I just didn’t expect that level of compassion from a service!! Nothing was too much trouble.It made us feel so much better knowing how Tiger was cared for by yourselves, and how beautifully he was returned to us. Cannot thank you both enough. Diane and Chris collected our beloved canine family member, Flori-Floo, just after she had been euthanasied peacefully at home. They gave us plenty of time to say our last goodbyes, and then with the greatest respect and care, carried her back with them for individual cremation.We were able to collect her ashes and bring her back home, the next day. This was a great comfort, and helped in our grieving process.Highly recommended.
