Was a once great app, then months ago reported that "exciting upgrades" were on the way, so they had to "delay" withdrawals until Dec 3. The "exciting upgrades" were that they will now charge .99 for every withdrawal with a cap of $50 a day. Then went to withdrawal and the claimed that they reached their withdrawal limit for the day. Don’t let them scam you, I’m joining a class action against them.
I had almost 300 dollars earned and made sure to keep on earning through the December payout time. They said they would escalate it to a specialist only for me to hear my account was banned when all I did was watch ads on the app. Despite my not violating the terms I was banned and cannot sign in.
Description of complaint:I have been using Benjamin for 2 years now. InSeptember they said the app was under maintenanceand we would be told when we could cash out again.Since then I’ve made over $300 and the other day Iwas logged out of my account I tried every passwordI could have used still not working so I contactedcustomer service in an email. They said I violated their terms and conditions I readed the terms andconditions and I didn’t do anything wrong (they justdidn’t want to pay out). Unfortunately I didn’t get aphoto of my app before they locked my account. Thisapp is a scam they don’t even have a phone numberfor me to call.
I loved this app at first. But it seems to me that they are going out of business but refusing to admit it to users. Cash out is allowed once you hit $25, but now they’ve changed it so No one is allowed to cash out until December regardless of their balance. A simple search of FB or google will show Hundreds of people have been permanently locked out of their accounts for “violating terms”, despite almost all of those people simply running ads and playing occasional games (which is exactly what the app is designed for and what I have been using it for). I had a little over $300 in my account but have been locked out of my account. Even though payouts were paused, they kept saying, play as usual “don’t worry, your balance is safe”. Withdrawals will resume Dec.3rd. Jokes on us that believed them, they just took our money. Beware of this app, b/c they are extremely dishonest.
When it says that you get a reward if u get to a certain board and then you get nothing. I am playing Monopoly Go and it said to reach board 70 you will get 40 dollars and you don't I'm at board 73 almost 74 and still nothing. That was 5 days ago if you don't want to pay out what it say maybe you shouldn't have it
Evil company permanently banned my account when I did absolutely nothing to break their TOS. I only watched ads. I had $260 I needed to pay for my college classes in there and they won’t give me the money I fairly earned. In addition, they blocked both my email address and my phone number so I have to use fake emails to contact them now. I will be going to the News outlet to expose their scam. * Edit 11/7 My email and is still blocked and Google won’t let me use anymore apps to try to contact them.
I was a big fan of Benjamin app, but it is a scam! Do not waste your time!While using the app, my account was disabled. It logged me out, will not take my password nor will it text a code to reset.There was absolutely nothing I had done that goes against the Terms & Conditions. I simply had earned credits that I was about to cash out. After searching this is pretty common and they will not stand behind it. Hopefully this scam of an app is shut down.
I have tried the Benjamin app two times. The first time was a while ago, and after trying to withdraw, the app told me that PayPal withdrawals were temporarily unavailable. This month, November 2025, I decided to login and try again. I have over $50 now “earned”, but when I went to withdraw, the app says all forms of withdrawals are not available this month. Can’t get any money. This has never happened to me with other play-for-cash apps like Copper or Just Play. I don’t recommend.
Company banned me after doing offers and accumulated nearly $400 that had yet to pay out. No explanation other than did not meet terms of service. Sounds like this is happening to others. I believe was in full compliance with all terms.
