Got an existing warranty that was supplied with the car. Had an issue with the car starting from cold so took it to my local garage who diagnosed it as a starter motor fault. As I got the warranty free with my car I did not expect it to cover anything. I called the claims line and said I had an issue and they asked me to send over the diagnostic which I did and they approved the claim within 15 minutes and authorised the repair. They paid the repairer straight away and before the car was collected by me.Thank you Blackstar warranties great service and great product would definitely recommend.
This company is just a scam and you don't want to go anywhere near them. I got a 6 month warranty from them after purchasing a ford fiesta. Within a month my water pump went. They said they would not cover due to wear and tear. The car have 30k miles on it. After another month I had a mis-firing piston, which once again they never covered under the warranty. Basically they don't cover anything or will blame wear and tear. You also can't have any work done while waiting for them to get back to you if they would cover it. Each time I had to chase them after waiting a week. Really disgusting company and don't buy any car from a dealer that gives out this warranty. It's not covered for nothing.
