Be careful if you need to return anything

The purchase was fine but the return process is poor. The return label included did not scan at the post office. I emailed them but had no response whatsoever. Does not inspire confidence so I won't use again. Now stuck with a pair of shoes that I can't wear.

Thieving Scammers!

I ordered shoes on the 1st December 2025.10 minutes later I tried to cancel the order as I ordered the wrong size, but nobody answered the phone. I sent an Email to cancel the order. I called again the following morning and was told I couldn't cancel the order as the shoes were being prepared for despatch.The Royal Mail tried to deliver to me, but I was out. I instructed the Royal Mail to keep them in the local Post Office for me to collect.2 Days later the Royal Mail delivered the shoes to somebody else and Emailed me proof of delivery.I sent the proof of delivery to Brantano and told them that I want my money back.Brantano said that the Royal Mail delivered the shoes in the "correct vicinity" and that I need to check with all of the houses on my street. There are over 100 houses on my street!Brantano said they need to investigate further with the Royal Mail and refused to issue me with a refund.Brantano have proof from the Royal Mail that they delivered to the wrong house and I haven't a clue where. So Brantano have my money and I have nothing in return.Brantano are behaving as though I have the goods, when blatantly I do not! They are thieves, scammers, not to be trusted.I WILL NEVER BUY FROM BRANTANO EVER AGAIN.They are a disgrace and I am now considering either reporting this to the police or taking legal action against them.I am utterly appalled.UPDATE 13TH JANUARY 2026I have just found that Brantano is owned by Gardiner Bros & Co (leathers) Ltd, company registration number 00534801. Their address is Unit 4 Indurent Park, Haresfield, Stonehouse, England, GL10 3EZ.I will be reporting them to the Police and I will be issuing a court claim against them. If they fail to pay, I will then instruct High Court bailiffs to enter their property to obtain payment or goods to the value of the full debt, which will include legal costs and interest.

Poor customer service

Hi, I purchased a pair of HiTech waterproof walking boots last year, but they have started leaking. I emailed Brantano a week a go with this query to check the warranty etc., but I have not had a response. Not even an automated message back. This really poor customer service. Can someone at Brantano respond please?

My shoes arrived couldn't get my foot…

My shoes arrived couldn't get my foot in them even though I ordered the same brand same size and themselves ones fitted and the logo was upside down then had to pay £7 postage to send them back

Paid for 24hr delivery (it was refunded…

Paid for 24hr delivery (it was refunded but not the point) turned up 4 days after that and the package had been opened why? 2 stickers holding it together postman didn’t care not there problem take it up with who sent it 1st time using Brantano definitely the last aswell with all the problems with delivery and parcel opened luckily I only ordered 1 thing so could see it was there do I trust my package to be safe if I ordered again the answer is NO .

Paid over £100 for boots that didn't…

Paid over £100 for boots that didn't arrive! Yet they took off the payment, didn't give me a confirmation of purchase email, nor did I get the boots...!?Update: I eventually got what I ordered, but the experience still wasn't great! It was on me for not placing my email correctly, still the website needs an email confirmation plugin!?
