My bugaboo dragonfly was faulty and unsafe to keep a baby in. The wheels were unusable outside as they would get blocked so easily.I started my claim 5th November and I am still without a working pram for my baby, I have had to purchase a carrier as his one no longer took his weight and I can’t carry him for more than 20 mins before I have to stop. Our life has been completely disrupted especially in the bad weather so many plans have been cancelled. I have been in contact with a mamas and papas customer service representative who is great but they reply typically 1-2 times a week meaning this has dragged out far longer than it should have, and I understand they have to go through bugaboo to me.When I called bugaboo today they had told me mamas and papas had already contacted them and would reply hopefully by the end of the day as I have been told I can swap my pram.I have had to accept this because at the moment I am desperate. I was offered the fox cub which I know nothing about and when I said I’ll view it in store first they said it’s not yet in mamas and papas. I requested the fox 5 as many friends have it and it was what I originally wanted but was convinced by the sales person to get the dragonfly (I guess because it was new)Long story short - I have been without a pram for a month. I have been offered a pram that I’m not 100% on but I’m desperate. Added - I am not at all happy with the bugaboo fox cub I have contacted customer service regarding this and I expect I’ll be waiting up to another month before if I’m lucky to get a pram I’m happy with.
Bought an expensive giraffe chair and it came with no fixing screws for the legs. I bought straight from the manufacturers site. You wouldn’t believe the problems I’m having getting them to send 4 screws to make the chair safe. I cannot recommend them and will not buy from these people again.
Having issues with our dragonfly already.1. The plastic in the rods has snapped. I reached out to bugaboo to try and replace given its under warranty. They told me they don't cover "accidental damage" and told me to buy replacements. The fact the replacement parts are sold out, says a lot! It is cheap, poor quiality plastic. Other prams use metal wires, which would hold up a lot better than brittle plastic. I'm so disappointed in the flimsy components and can't even get a replacement part! Also to spend nearly 2k on a full pram set up, for the company not to then provide a replacement of a $26 part is pretty ridiculous! They need to treat their customers better. 2. The seat recline mechanism is nearly impossible to use. You have yank on the lever thing SO HARD.It does look lovely and the basket is good for a compact pram. Pushes well!
I ordered a Bugaboo butterfly stroller that said would take a few days for me to receive, however it came the next day. The bumper bar was advertised as free with this stroller, but when I received it, the bumper bar was missing. As I received the stroller on Saturday, I had to wait until Monday to call customer service. The customer advisor was helpful and placed an order for the bumper bar which was also received shortly after. I had a smooth experience ordering from bugaboo. Would definitely recommend :)
I have ordered a Butterfly pram with bumper bar 11 days ago. The bumper bar went missing according to DPD. I have raised this with bugaboo support 7 days ago and have not received a single message back from them. Their policy says customer service should respond within 48 hours but this is not true in practice.
