We bought the Dragonfly just one year ago and disgusted by how badly it is designed and made Except it's a fundamentally flawed design in almost every way - a reclining seat that falls back sporadically (mine and a friend's did the same) giving your baby whiplash. Followed by dodgy folding mechanisms and a poorly designed wheel design so it gets clogged up with leaves and dirt leaving it impossible to use without bringing something to poke into the wheel arch to clear. Considering we spent over a grand we now have a sunny day only buggy and have to buy a different one for autumn, winter and spring. Absolutely shambolic and not sustainable when you have to replace the parts. We've just had the chassis replaced and that doesn't fold so it's having to be replaced for a second time. The only plus is that the customer service through the retailer has been efficient - although they argue that the wheels clogging up doesn't affect its use. Which it absolutely does since you can barely push the buggy when the wheels are so clogged up.
Hurts me to have to write this because so far we have loved the products. However, returning items is a normal part of purchase flow and there seems to be an issue here. I had an item that we bought that was purchased in the wrong color. We opened the box, saw it was wrong and sent it back asap. The item was received and signed by someone on their end on 8/22. I've reached out twice for feedback about when we can expect a refund. I keep getting we are looking into it and will let you know. We are 3 weeks in and no sign of return. Soon I will need to file with my credit card and the BBB
Changed our day to day! It is SO effortless to open and close this buggy, even when you're in an awkward position/moment i.e. baby crying or carrying bags as well as buggy. No more messy entrance. Different to most buggies out there: Actually free standing - has a mechanism to make sure it stands and not just "free standing" because it leans on the handlebar when closed and hopefully it won't topple over, which is often the case. Also different to other buggies, you don't have to crouch to fold or unfold, you don't pick the buggy up from the floor-ever! The only thing you need is to empty the bottom tray, but instead of emptying it onto your dining table you can chuck them all in the other vertical bag also attached to the buggy, meaning it's actually mess free! love it.----- BELOW ADDED LATER Days after I published this review I had a negative experience which I feel I need to include. Went onto the bus with the buggy and it was swirling all over the place, despite having the weight of a baby in it! It even tipped over! Because when you lock it it feels stable, but it isn't when the ground is moving because only the back wheels lock - tried to see if I could manually lock the front wheels but couldn't find a way to do this. I understand no buggy can tick every single box, and that with so many added qualities you might have to let go of some others. While this is certainly a safety concern, I don't get on the bus that much so I still think the plusses outweigh the minuses. But for those of you who will, especially the wild London busses, you'll likely have to hold/manage the buggy on there and would never be able to sit or take a breather. This is a massive downside.
