Lovely shutters, easy(ish) to fit. Would have been 5* but for a couple of things. The shutters obviously come either a pack of hardware but there are far more items in the pack than are needed to fir the shutters. As there are no packing lists or hard copy instructions this meant I had to phone to get someone to explain what all the bits were. Most of which went straight in the bin as they were superfluous. Also there were a couple of tiny chips on two of the mitres.
California blinds were very quick to respond to my emails even during busy Christmas period. I was a little disappointed that my blinds did not arrive on time and they tried their best to deliver as quickly as possible. The blinds were lovely very good quality.
So many things ! The quality and accuracy of the shutters , the speed at which they where delivered and the online help and advise I received . Another impressive little touch is that they don't place your order for 24 hours after submission to give you time to re-check your order . This company was recommended to me and I would definitely recommend to others .
Really pleased with the service. All the way from ordering and delivery. Was straight forward to put together on my own even. Had an issue with first delivery (my fault) and the support was top notch. Ordered my third set; really pleased overall
My partner ordered three shutters for a bay window - main shutter is fine but the two side panels are so horrendously different it's completely appalling. Because there was a couple of mm height difference between the 2 sides (at nowhere on the website does it warn you that this could happen, otherwise I would have obviously requested them the same side) not only is there a different number of slats between sides, but the midtier bar is completely different too (even with matching measurements). I was shocked at the lack of understanding from the customer services team. They claim this to be a 'mismeasure' (understandable to have an effect on some elements but how they have ended up looking completely different I don't understand!) and needs to be reordered at my expense which is outrageous and highlights the poor workmanship that this wasn't considered (order clearly labelled as BAY WINDOW) at production. Very poor copy and paste customer service answers via email and I will certainly not be ordering anything else from these cowboys as I'm now left with very expensive mismatching shutters. I've recommended California Shutters from a good experience a few years ago, and regret it now. Other alternative companies available that all use the same supplier so go with them - PLEASE.
