Terrible customer service. My sister ordered two pairs of trousers for my father on 18th November. We rang several times to find out where they were. Brian actually shouted at me down the phone, called me 'love' and said it was our fault that we hadn't found them and were causing him a lot of stress. Eventually he said they will be delivered today, 9th December weeks after ordering. The trousers themselves are good but we certainly won't be re-ordering from this company ever again. I suggest he takes a course in customer service.
Good quality merchandise, but terrible customer interaction. I paid for 24 hour postage imagining it would be 24 hour delivery. Not so. I ordered on Dec 2nd and queried on the 5th only to be shouted at and told my order would be cancelled because they had only just got the picking slip through and they didn’t need customers like me.If it had been for me I would have said OK, but it was for my newly disabled husband.
When I contacted the company to find out when the items will be delivered I got sad stories and loads of their own problems. They may be genuine but when you are running the business you should cater for all eventualities and not pass on your problems to the customers. Customers pay the money in good faith and expect the service that you are offering not excuses. Also stay in touch with the customers to let them know what is happening and not wait for customers to ring you. Communication is important.
I ordered a pair of elasticated trousers for my elderly father that didn't fit him properly and I returned them on 29th November to the UK. I live in Ireland and the trousers ended up costing me about €70.00 between postage customs and return postage. I have since sent 3 emails to Care Clothing and haven't received even an acknowledgment yet. Their customer service needs to be improved.Teresa Crampton
I really like this company. A proper company with real staff, who actually pick up the phone. Superb customer service. I ordered a pair of pyjamas and two pairs of trousers for my elderly father. The pyjamas were so good I have ordered a second pair. They will even take trousers up for you prior to despatch for a small fee. I definitely recommend Care Clothing. The name is apt as they are clearly a company who really do care.
