Review Time
We ordered a key-safe on Friday, 09/02 which arrived promptly the next day, Saturday, but was obviously a second-hand used key-safe as had no box/packaging and no manual. Telephoned Carelink on Monday,12/02 and then emailed photos which Maranda advised she would pass to her line-manager. On Tuesday, re-contacted Maranda who emailed the same response so on Wednesday 14/02, as had heard nothing from the 'line-manager, I rang as we needed key-safe urgently for my son's Carers. Spoke to Kiera, who refused to give me the name or email for the line manager (why??) but then took advice and sent a replacement (NEW) key-safe which arrived on 15/02 - a week later than original order date. Unhelpfully it was sent to my son's address unlike the original one which I had sent to my address as my son is only able to answer the door with very great difficulty.This has been a disappointing experience: Carelink employees seem to worry more about protecting colleagues than giving customers a decent service. and do not put their brains in gear re addresses, etc.
Quick delivery of the product, a couple of teething problems whereby the unit kept raising the alarm. New replacement pendant was quickly replaced. Still a problem, complete new alarm unit sent through quickly and now no problems. All staff we spoke to where friendly and efficient.
From the first contact when I ordered by phone to the 4 x testing the system everyone I spoke to was really nice. The set up process was easy and the overall experience left me very satisfied. I am comforted that my 89 tear old mum is much safer in her home.
My father-in-law and mother-in-law have used Carelink24 for approximately 4 years. The service on the whole has been very good. When the father-in-law died we kept the conract and equipment for the mother-in-law. The change over was easy and the service was great. She is now in a home unfortunately. We would recommend this firm.
My wife and I have only being using this service for two weeks and my wife has made several false calls whilst wearing the button on her wrist, she now has it as a necklace but the polite response we get from the call centre is exceptional, I'm assuming we are not the only ones doing it, but it must be annoying for them.
