Review Time
I placed an order on Ring.com 10 days ago, and my card was charged immediately. However, I have not received any updates regarding the status or shipment of my order.
I’ve called customer service twice. During my first call, I was told the item would ship on Tuesday. It is now Wednesday night, and the order still has not shipped. I was then informed that it is expected to ship on 3/1 instead. The lack of clear communication and changing timelines is very disappointing.
If the product is not in stock, that should be communicated upfront. Customers should not be charged before the item has even shipped, especially without proper notification of delays.
I have previously purchased several Ring devices through Amazon without any issues. This was my first time ordering directly from Ring, and unfortunately, it has been a very frustrating experience.
In Dec. 0f 2025 we purchased another Ring camera and added it to our account and I upgraded our plan. Since our old plan just renewed they had to issue me a credit to the same card originally charged, I told them that card is closed. They told me that I can contact the bank and get the money from the bank once they received it. I told them no thats not how it works. But I waited and tried it their way. When I did contact my old bank I was correct, they funds were rejected and sent back to Ring. Now they REFUSE to issue me a check or even credit my new plan. I am out $33.31!!! They dont seem to understand when you are no longer a customer of a bank they are not going to accept funds to cut you a check. I am awaiting to speak to another superviser.
This company is really horrible. The customer service reps are very unprofessional and not trained to deal with customer issues. They have never solved my problem and I'm always stressed out when I'm finished with them. Their the products are very inferior and never works properly especially when it either gets to hot or cold. I'm soooo ready to move this company should be shut down based on all the complaints I've seen on this forum. Don't even want to give them one star horrible horrible horrible a million times over....
I am very disappointed in my doorbell camera. It works fine all day and won't record or show live vedio in evening and overnight. I have checked everything they said to check everything checks out good wifi good nite time camera good no schedule set can't get it to work at night. I was thinking about adding another to my side door now I'm don't think it will be a ring product.
Ring has signed an agreement with flock to share our personal video data with ICE and other organizations to use our own information against us.
We have about 15 ring cameras on our property and I’m currently searching for replacement cameras. Don’t waste your money on a company that will sell you out.
I have been very dissatisfied with the service provided. After a break-in, my brother gifted me several cameras to use for security inside my home. However, the fees are excessive, and the subscription model is frustrating. After moving a few months ago, my camera was stolen from the garage. They claim they will replace stolen devices if a police report is filed. I submitted the report, but then received an email stating, 'after reviewing your case and our policy, we won't be replacing your device.' This has left me extremely frustrated, as I can no longer trust this company to honor their commitments. I often recommend cameras to clients buying new homes, but I will not be recommending this service again. The camera itself is fine, but the company’s support is lacking.
I pay for two Ring services: $100 basic plan and $100 professional monitoring. They are migrating them into a bundled $200 plan that includes their AI. I signed up Jan 6th, and they charged me an additional $100 with no warning today (Jan 14th) with an email a few minutes later explaining this. So I paid $200 for a week of services, they changed the plan, and then charged me an additional $100 for an AI service I DO NOT WANT and DID NOT WANT when I was picking my plans. By their explanation, the basic + monitoring should be $200, which I paid. Why am I being charged an additional "prorated" $100 a week after paying for a whole year? Absolutely ridiculous, and their customer support and plan pages are all down so you can't cancel. Awful company.
I have been very unhappy with Ring as a company. My brother gifted me several cameras after a break in. I used them inside my home for peace of mind. But the fees are ridiculous and the subscription model stinks. I moved homes a few months ago and my camera was stolen from my garage. They state they will replace a stolen camera if there is a police report. I filed a police report and then got an email that said 'after reviewing your case and our policy, we won't be replacing your device'. Well, I will never replace that camera now - nothing makes me more mad than a company that does not make good on their promises. I gift a lot of cameras to my clients when they buy a new home and it will never be Ring now. Go with something else. Camera is fine, company is horrible.
I have a floodlight cam, one of the bulbs has gone but they have told me you can't replace bulbs so I have to buy a new unit. Spent 1 hour on phone they told me they would escalate to management and let me know within 72hours, when I chased there was no record of the call, they told me to just buy a new one!
