Review Time
We finally exited CCF bank at the end of 2025 and it has taken me until now to feel calm enough to write about it. Others have written about the terrible service. I will tell you about their terrible online security which is the weakest and slowest. Fraud happened to us. The bank staff were absolutely no help so we turned to the "mediateur" for help - totally toothless - CCF simply ignored them so we ended up with zero help. Stay away from this bank. Do not even deserve 1 star.
One of the worst customer service banks ever!!With HSBC it was fantastic. After the takeover the customer relationship advisor is so pathetic that never responds to any messages. fix an appointment and the call never comes. Never seen such useless service!!
As with many monolithic organisations it often depends who the human you interact with, responds. Today Dumez dealt with a fraudulent card transaction with understanding and patience notwithstanding that her 1st language was not English.That said I understand the comments made by others who are not happy with the overall service. 9 months or more ago I would have given no more than 2 stars! Not listening nor delivering back then....so maybe...just maybe someone up the line is listening and watching. There is always hope.
My mother sadly died in June and has left me her beautiful apartment in La Napoule, I had to open a bank account, my lovely friend recommended CCF bank in Mandelieu. I have had wonderful service. My account is now open and I can email or phone anytime I have a question, I really cannot recommend this bank enough. I have spoken to 3 people that work there and all of them are wonderful, I only know one of their names Christel so thank you so much Christel for making me feel so valued, I was very worried about sorting everything out, but with your help and my lovely friend Sally, I realise now I had nothing to worry about.
I was an HSBC customer and everything was perfect, once CCF bank took over, i had the worse service and experience you can imagine. I stayed more than a year without a debit card, escalated multiple times, finally received it after almost a year of back and forth. However no code, so couldn't use the card and till date i haven't received it. I live in Lebanon and due to the current situation was really in need to use my money and couldn't so was forced to transfer it. After that I informed the bank by email and by contacting the customer service multiple times to close my account. But it never happened and the bank was still charging for services that it was not offering. I am still calling and escalating to close the account but nothing so far. My recommendation is to never use this bank specially if you do not reside in France.
