With the transfer from HSBC to CCV due to unclear phone number registration and poor validation plus almost zero customer support and a four hour wait we were charged at 9 cents a minute incurring a charge of £40 to register. The winners were CCF and HSBC at the customers expense .
My former landlord, who was employed at CCF, repeatedly monitored my personal bank account statements. I am concerned about how he gained access to my account, given that he was not my assigned bank advisor. On one occasion, when I deliberately delayed my rent payment due to his consistent failure to provide a rent receipt—leading me to suspect that he might not be declaring his rental income for tax purposes—he contacted me, stating that he had reviewed my account balance, observed that I had sufficient funds, and demanded to know why I had not yet paid the rent.This raises serious concerns regarding the bank’s privacy policies and data protection practices. The conduct of this bank’s employees is not only unprofessional but appears to be in blatant violation of French law.Such an institution is not even deserving of a one-star rating.
