Sorry if you get stuck with Center Well.

My wife was assigned to Center Well following a surgical infection. She needed to have the portable wound vac dressing changed 3 time a week. When center well finally showed up, on their schedule not ours, the nurse did not know how to apply the dressing. I had to show her. The wound vac stopped working one night about 2 am. I called center well and got a triage nurse who could not speak English. I had to diagnose the problem and fix it myself. We terminated that service. Later my wife needed PT. We were given a trainee therapist, who was very nice, but more interested in blood pressure than physical rehabilitation. She also violated my wife's privacy by contacting her primary care doctor after she was instructed not to do so. We terminated that service by notifying the therapist. But that's not all, her supervisor made multiple calls trying to reinstate the service.I finally gave the Center Well Office a call to make sure that they understood that they were fired. The receptionist would not let me terminate the service unless I spoke to a supervisor who was not available. You can't even fire the incompetent idiots. They are arrogant, inflexible and ignorant. I feel sorry for anyone assigned to them. Unfortunately, you have no say in the matter except to fire them.

Cheating Seniors

I am senior on Medicare with a type one diabetic condition, and am working with my endocrinologist on getting the correct types (2) and dosage correctly. The order was called in to Centerwell and fortunately I set up my account to get my approval for anything being delivered. My Doctor wrote a script for two months. Centerwell filled it and carged me $105.00 for two months insulin. The problem is that you can only charge a max of $35.00 per month. I called them up and asked why so much and they responded we only fill three month orders. They were going to send me two months supply but charge me for a three months’ supply. As a side note, Insulin is never counted for a deductable.Additionally, I needed needles for insulin pens for a three month supply and was charged $30.00 per box. When I received the package, I looked up the same exact product in brand and “model” and found them for $5.00 per box with the shipping for boxes for a dollar each. Fortunately I sent the Centerwell order back with their RMA and awaiting a refund. I performed some research and found the CEO of Centerwell being a Doctor and a MBA. Obviously he only wants to focus on the MBA roleStay away from this organization

The worst experience getting important medicine

So unreal, blood pressure and diabetes preventive medicine several weeks late, every three months! I've called and talked with cs several times, they blame it on "missing" USPS says "pending" but I am told that it's "missing" and now have to wait 2 weeks and call back to file a new rx. Duh, I guess they are trying to make me go elsewhere.... Ho hum.....

This place is home to some of the most f*d up health care offerings I've ever experienced. I've had better rural, small town, services. Honestly, so far, the entire health care process in LaVergne, TN., has been dubious at best. However, re: Centerwell...First visit ended up being a day that the weather turned 5"-6" snow and still snowing. Called Centerwell because I got a "Are you going to be here" type message. I was reassured by the answering rep that, yes indeed, we are open. Get to the office, IT'S CLOSED! Called and was told, "Oh...due to weather, all our offices are closed'.First visit!Since, there have been wrong referrals, i.e., sent to a cardiologist instead of a vascular provider. Wasted trip and when cardio guy calls Centerwell, they freely admitted mistake. They'll ask me questions about past med services for which I have provided past med service information, including contact info, signed papers permitting contact, etc., i.e., I had to finally get med records myself from a service in GA.Today, I am trying to log in to the patient portal to see "new results" from recent tests. Cannot log in because no "CODE" is being provided for access. Not a big deal as there is nothing life threatening going on. Just more crap added to a growing list of crap.Mind you, as stated, health care here locally has been scary (don't even get me started on Premier Radiology...or being worn out with notices to "make an appointment" with eyecare folx only to be told that no openings were available for 3-4 months, etc...etc..), so it's apparently not limited to the Centerwell folx. Hell, the 1st med service I visited, with a constant, hacking cough, but more to establish health care as I was new to the area, gave me a pneumonia shot, said thank you very much, sent me on my way with zero physical observations. Two week later, after finally visiting a walk in clinic (who cared enough to send me for a chest xray), I discover that I actually have pneumonia. The only thing that keeps me going to CW is that I have to go somewhere. Also, I trust, and like, my personal care provider.FWIW, this is a personal view of the local, Smyrna, TN., Centerwell operations only! Other CW's may be better.Good luck!

Terrible service

Terrible service! Lazy nurses! The only thing they did was take blood pressure for my dad. They were also very rude. Would not recommend this company. Go with another company. We had great service with Admedis. My father was hospitalized 5 hrs after centerwell nurse came and said he looked great.

Centerwell does not accept self-pay patients...

A brand new Centerwell location opened up recently and only 5 minutes from my home. Unfortunately, I've been self-employed for the last 26 years and have no insurance. I've been self-pay for years. Sooooo... they will not accept me as a patient because they wouldn't be able to Bilk the insurance companies!

Great physical therapists

I had 2 total hip replacements and was given the option of using centerwell for my physiotherapy. I actually was pleased with the service . Ive had 3 different physical therapist to come out and all 3 has been great. Polite and helpfull and not pushy , not overworking my hip to the point I'm crying in pain compared to another provider . Mike was great , real happy , funny and helpfull, not missing the part of being very educated in what he does and the human body . I can't remember the lady's name who came out but she was nice , nice personally, made me laugh , which I thought was good as it took my mind off the pain for a while . I might have to have a fourth total hip replacement or hip surgery sometime in my very near future and there's no doubt in my mind of asking them to provide service to me again . Great physical therapy providers
