We purchased a home with Champion windows and a one year warranty was transferred to us. The windows were installed in 2011. After we moved in we noticed some of the windows had fog/build up between the panes. 13 windows ended up being replaced due to this problem during the first year we owned the home. Our warranty is up and I noticed another window with the same issue. I called Champion and told me it will be $350 for half a sash. If you are considering Champion windows I would look elsewhere. The fact that so many windows needed to be replaced after ten years should tell the consumer all they need to know about their quality and durability. Plus they are expensive as hell. AVOID!!!!
Justin from Champion Windows arrived on time to meet with us and go over window product offerings. He was very knowledgeable and professional. He helped us pick out quality windows with no pressure. Justin was friendly and easy to talk to. He gave us the best pricing compared to other window vendors for a great quantity window. Justin was very detailed explaining the quality of the windows and the inhalation process.
John went over in great detail everything we were looking at. Very personable gentleman and very open and honest about products including their own products. If he felt it would work well for us he'd say so and if he didn't feel it would be a good fit for us he'd tell us. And his advice was not just based off price. Michael did an excellent job explaining and showing (“the show stopper” ‘light’ show!) why Champion Windows are the only window to be considered for your home. Professional, knowledgeable and also able to get to know him a bit personally, made for a good presentation. Anticipating getting our windows installed in the not too distant future!
Doting is the best word to describe our sales rep Mark. Called a day ahead of time to confirm our appointment time, called that day because he was ahead of schedule and wanted to see if we were ok with him coming early (which worked better for us), and went out of his to help us with a few things while he was here.
I bought 6 windows 2 years ago, and I just bought 12 more. These windows are the highest quality vinyl windows I have ever run across. Bonus points for being pretty. Heat and cold just do not transfer into the house, so those windows can stay wide-open. They are worth every penny.The people who work for Champion Windows are professional at every level. Unfortunately, this is something that is more and more rare these days, but Champion still has it. I can’t recommend this company enough.
