Champion was great to work with! They had the colors I wanted without it being a "premium" like other companies. They team that worked on our house was really good as well. My only issues with the team was that 1 person smoked nonstop, left cigarette butts everywhere (we have dogs, and I walk around barefoot outside), and some of the craftsmanship was not great. They left pen markings on the white trim, which I am still having issues removing. Some of the siding pieces are slanted, the section over our garage shows like bowing, or maybe they didn't smooth out the surface the put the siding on? I'm not sure. I've reached out 2 weeks ago, maybe longer, to get a technician out to fix these errors but have yet to heard back. The bug repellent our guy told us about, I don't think it actually works. We have a lot of little bugs that are crawling up the siding and into where each piece hooks together. Yes, that sounds like a lot of negative, but for the price point, unless we wanted to spend double, everything else is great. We get a lot of compliments on the upgrade from what we had, and so far we love it! It has been about 3 months. We will see how long the backside of our home (which has sun from 1pm-dusk) holds up. Our salesman said it won't warp at all,and if it does, it is covered by their warranty supposedly. So we shall see!
Nothing but lies! We had a Champion salesman in our home in June and decided to use Champion in our remodel project. On June 10, I wrote Champion a down-payment check for over $18,000 which they promptly cashed with no problem. They assured us we would have our windows in 4-6 weeks. It's now been over 9 weeks. No windows and no communication. I spent two weeks calling our salesman who did absolutely nothing but promise to have this manager or that manager call me. No calls. I finally called the corporate office and was able to leave a message for the National Customer Service Manager. A few days later she did call me back and promised a return call today (August 14) to give me an explanation and update on my order. It's now after 7pm. Guess what? No call.Deeply regretting my bad judgement.
Overall the sunroom project was a great success. Everything the salesman promised was done, the workmen were great and the quality is very good. The weather caused a long delay from the scheduled start and I wish the communication during that time had been better, but once they started the office staff was very helpful and pushed the permitting process along. The workmen came every day, all day until it was complete. The lead installer was extremely good and knew what to do. They solved all the problems and had to do some extras I know they had not planned on, but there was no complaining or extra charges.I highly recommend the Atlanta Champion team.
We had a very smooth and all around professional service process. When picking our door and going over paperwork we had a very understanding representative while our kids were running around the our house. We are very please with our patio sliding door. We would go with champion again in the future.
