We researched window companies and chose Champion. We were NOT sorry as they were awesome. From salesman to installation to the installers themselves and the experience since we have had them, all is as good as it can be. We are very happy with the experience, the salesman, the quality of the product and the quality and courtesy of the installers who cleaned up after themselves and did not even crush the bushes under the picture window, all was a great experience.
Sloppy and careless workmanship. Terrible communication, slow to respond (if at all). Wholly unsatisfactory outcome.Patio door:- It took 4 attempts to install the lock correctly. It still doesn't work right and feels creaky and crunchy when I turn the mechanism.- Caulk was smeared in several spots on the patio. The caulking job around the patio door was sloppy and left holes in places.Bathroom window:- The window was not installed level! Installer tried to pass it off like the frame of the house wasn't level, but that's nonsense.- The interior seal wasn't caulked. Even after it was pointed out, the installer still only caulked the sides and the top - I had to caulk the bottom seal myself.Entry door:- The threshold is warped and bent.- The paint around the door knob and deadbolt started chipping the moment the installers left.- The deadbolt wouldn't fit snugly into the opening, so the opening had to be ground out. It now looks like it's been gnawed at by beavers.Responsiveness and communication was awful. I repeatedly had to wait for over a week to hear back from anybody, and often had to call and call again to get a response. Sometimes it felt like nobody knew what was going on with my project. At one point, I was supposed to get a whole new sash & lock for the patio door, then I was supposed to get a sash repurposed from another project, and in the end I got no new sash or lock, but rather another lame attempt at a fix.This project cost me nearly $10,000 and the refund they offered me was $150. For this kind of money, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect a higher level of quality, especially from such a high-profile, local company. I'm disappointed in their work and their customer service. I would not recommend Champion to anybody.
Champion windows are the best!! We had Champion replacements in our old house 25 years ago and they were great then. Moved back to Ohio a couple years ago and where I live now needed new windows. Ofcourse the first place I thought of for replacements was Champion Windows. These windows are better than the old replacements, they have improved the windows even more!
Excellent company. Quality of construction completed in a satisfactory workmanship like manner. Great follow up when issues arise. The employees are prompt, courteous, professional and very accommodating while remaining pleasant. Our Sunroom is beautiful & very well constructed. This company gets our vote hands down. Don’t hesitate in using Champion. It’s the real deal.
My experience from initial meeting, to order, to measuring, and finally installation was terrific. Champion Windows people were customer service oriented and knowledgeable. I love my new windows and recommend Champion without reservation.
Great windows tons of options. The installers are excellent and polite, professional and very talented. We love our new windows and sliding glass door. Instantly noticed a difference in the climate of the house and feel of over all home.
We replaced 60 year old aluminum windows with vinyl sliders from Champion and I couldn't be happier. The salesman told us it would take 7 to 10 weeks until installation, but it only took a month. The installer did an excellent job, especially considering this was an older home. He was fast, efficient and very tidy. They look fabulous, and our home is much quieter and warmer now. I can't wait to do the rest of the house next summer!
