we have been happy with the sales and service in the past, but recently we had a service problem and they said would get back in a couple days. was told this a few days ago but it has been a week and no phone call back. called today the lady was nice and said that she would check on my call and someone would contact me. I'm still waiting. we have been very pleased with past experiences but it seems this taking longer! davethey have came back and took care of the problem and we are satisfied. will recommend them again in the future dave
I recently had a sunroom replaced with a Champion sunroom. The entire process was very smooth and incredibly professional. There were a few glitches based on my home and all were handled beyond my expectations. From the sales process through the demo and reconstruction as well as the follow up I could not be more pleased with the product and service.
My windows needed replacement after 33 years and I was anxious how I was going to do that. After some initial inquiries over recent years (mainly at local fairs), I decided to take the plunge. I invited Champion and two other competitors over to the house for discussions. I invited a fourth later on but cancelled the appointment after product knowledge increased and price negotiations with Champion progressed. I bolstered my knowledge by inquiring on the web, perusing Angies' List and friends. To add to my anxiety, I also had to overhaul my wood deck in the back yard which needed to be almost done before the installers could install the kitchen windows. Jarvis Smith of Champion was the third vendor I spoke to. He brought his window show-and-tell display and patiently explained why Champion windows were a better value for my situation. I didn't feel like he was putting too much pressure on me or overstating his product. Even after Mr. Smith left, I was still undecided which vendor to select but I had scratched one off the list. That vendor claimed they had a superior product but the rep warned me that the quote would be twice as much as the others. The second vendor had a good product but their office was over 30 miles away. Champion's office was about 5 miles away and I decided to test them. I showed up at their Kent showroom unannounced late Friday afternoon to look at their displays and talk to any sales rep. Because all the sales people were out, the sales manager Jerod came out and spoke to me for about an hour. The result of the meeting was that I gained enough knowledge about the product that I was confident enough that I could negotiate price with Jarvis. He was gracious to come out on Saturday because I told him the fourth vendor was scheduled to come out on the following Monday. The price negotiations were cordial and we settled on a price within a reasonable time. Because the sales manager had enlightened me about their garage door product line, I was also able to wrap that into the negotiations even though it wasn't high on my priority list at the time. The garage door installers under John Maloney came out first within two weeks and did a great job. Within four weeks, the window installers came out and spent a couple days doing the installation. Mark, the window scheduler, did a great job briefing me on progress. The installers did a quality installation and everything was above board and timely. Clean up was also very good. All in all, everything went well. I had 15 standard-sized windows installed - 7 on the second floor, 7 on the first and one in the basement. Also, a one-car and two-car steel garage doors were installed a week before. The overall communication with the rep was timely and accurate; the installers were professional and knowledgeable, and the front office people were helpful. There were no hitches in the window measurement, the contract, garage door and window delivery as well as installation. Why wouldn't I be pleased?
