We recently purchased a home from Charles Church, and we are incredibly happy with the entire experience from the initial buying process to the post-completion stage. Mia and especially Wiktoria provided exceptional customer care, going above and beyond to ensure we felt supported throughout.Wiktoria was our main point of contact and her knowledge about the development and specific details of our new home was impressive. She patiently answered all our questions, making the entire process much smoother and more enjoyable.After moving in, we encountered a few minor issues that needed fixing, but Dave and his team were prompt and efficient in addressing them. Marius stood out as a star performer, working quickly and effortlessly to resolve our concerns.Overall, our experience with Charles Church has been very positive, and we highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy a property. Frank was amazing! He carried out the work with expertise and cleaned up after.I'm not happy with persimmon itself due to shoddy workmanship when I had two different companies carrying out the work. My work should never have needed doing but I will say frank has been excellent today.
We began the buying process at Trevelyan Grange, Morpeth, in August 2024. A year passed by and in August 2025 the house was still unfinished. No one at Charles Church was able or willing to provide a completion date or an explanation for the delay. Initially we were advised our new home would be ready in the period June to August 2025. That passed by, with build completion expected by 31 October, then delayed again to the end of November. A further notification from Charles Church then advised us that the build completion would be by 24th December. The delays and uncertainty meant that at the last minute, we had to find temporary accommodation over Christmas and New Year as we had to move out of our house on 1st December, still not knowing when the new house would be ready.Charles Church showed no recognition of the impact of the delays on us as buyers.In the intervening period we were asked to make selections from the Options brochure produced by the company. Disappointingly, many of our selected items were withdrawn without an alternative provision, adding to our frustration.The Company’s financial year end is in December, and it was only as that approached that there was any sense of urgency. Our solicitor advised that the final date for legal completion before the Christmas break was 19 December, so Charles Church advised that the build would be completed by then. Somehow the house passed the CML inspection, and we collected the keys on 20th December. However, there is still much to be done to finish the house to a proper standard, and the surroundings are still in the state of a building site.The only positive throughout the whole experience so far has been from Angela Edgar, the Sales Executive, and Paul Edwards, the new Site Manager, both of whom have shown support and understanding of our situation.After so much stress and difficulty we can only hope that the aftersales support will be significantly better!
From initially walking into the sales office at Wellington Gate mid 2025, our experience with Charles Church was exceptional, and all thanks to Jamie. She was beyond helpful, extremely flexible, and always happy to answer any queries or questions we had. At one point, she was even standing outside holding cupboard doors in the light to help us decide on what colour we wanted!Paula joined the team mid way through our purchase and she was also fantastic, but we would not be in the house we are currently in if it wasn't for Jamie and her continued support. She is a shining example of what customer service can look like...
We moved into the Bishopton development and from the snagging day to move in day the site manager, specifically Paul Devlin, was very thorough and made sure any issues were resolved ASAP before us moving in (even when it was a week before Christmas).Site manager Alec Smith specifically went above and beyond in helping to fix any issues once we moved in. Once notified he was there the next day with a team to resolve issues & even help us with additional things in the house. They were constantly checking in and making sure everything was perfect. Can't fault the help from the guys at all!
The sales team and the site manager provided an excellent service. They go above snd beyond to help and are very knowledgeable. We were built a beautiful new home. The house is a quality home with excellent choices for kitchen , tiling and flooring.We are very happy here.
