Hey Cheapflights, take some if not all responsibility for these scams! You should vet these fake a$$ companies who are scamming under the guise of your company. Why you are allowing these companies to piggy back off your name & continue to scam like they do is beyond me! It's mostly your fault as you are aware of this happening as evidenced by your nonsensical follow-ups to the people who are giving these horrible reviews & you just want to pass the buck instead of communicating with these scumbags who feed off you. What you need to do is boot these scammers out, but not w/out punishing them w/heavy fines even if it means bringing them to court. I speak for us all...we are sick and tired of the bait & switch racket you are allowing to play out in real life!
Straight up fraud. I booked with them and was given my flight itinerary. I checked with United the booking airline and none of the flights existed. I sent off an email to cancel 5 hours after booking and the card was still charged. Company says they are out of Arizona nope India.
Awful. Booked rental car out of St.Pete because that's where they said the flight was arriving. Two weeks later the airport is changed to Tampa. It was incorrectly listed the first time. When I called to change airport pickup location for car rental they tried to upcharge me. I refused and wanted to cancel. They convinced me to keep rental with no extra charge. I had paid a $50 reservation fee and didn't want to pay remainder until I got the actual car. After booking, they called back just to 'confirm the card I wanted to use at the airport.' It was the same card I initially reserved with. I did NOT authorize any charges over the phone. They charged $263 immediately, but with a different vendor that didn't match the original reservation fee.When I got to Tampa there was no car at Budget for me. I called cheapflights.com and talked to a woman who said 'the man' is not there and she can't do anything until he gets back. Totally sus. Found out my rental was through Thrifty, but I was unable to get a car. I called cheapflights.com back and told them I expected a refund. They refunded the $50, but NOT the $263!? Said they 'couldn't find the charge.'Funny, they were able to defend the charge with some questionable contract language when I filed a chargebackMy credit card company, also outsourced to miserable India, ultimately denied the chargeback.They are definitely a dark cloud of a memory on my first vacation in over ten years.Don't use cheapflights.com. Don't.
These people sre cheaters. Booked our flight on line and booking doesnt go though until they call. Then they wanted to chsrge 400 more than the cost on the website! Fridt they said they didnt do nusiness with the airline then they said evetything was sold out and they would have to book us at a step up for 400$. Dont do nusiness with them! Toni
Try to book an international flight, they called me and tried to charged me $650 for the cabin luggage on a flight for $850, under the pretense that it was an especial offer from the aero line that did not include any kind of luggage on an INTERNATIONAL flight. Book the same flight on the aero line web, cabin bag included, checked bag for $75.As always, if seems too good to be true provably is too good to be true.Do not used, they try to pressure me telling that it was a flight with no cancelation refund, but they did not charged anything yet, since you must approve, but I'm keeping an eye on my credit card account and added alerts. Better be safe than sorry.Liars, Thieves, Scammers.
Absolutely horrible service our flight was canceled due to Hurricane and there was absolutely no help from cheap flights to get any type of assistance for them to change my flight they would only change the canceled flight and wouldn't change the return flight. To change the return flight they have to charge me a full ticket to do so. Then they continued to go further blaming the airline for their policy of why they're doing things such as this when they don't even require any of these policies, after talking to the airline if I would have purchased directly from the airline they would give you a credit for the ticket. Money lost do not use cheap flight Services, worthless
DO NOT USE THIS SITE!! I tried to book round trip tickets from Faresplanet and had a very pushy, rude man with a very thick India accent call me 10 minutes later to tell me my returning flight was full. He then aggressively pushed for me to purchase tickets for a completely different airline for 3 times what the original price they had listed. I said no and requested my complete reservation be canceled and information deleted. He agreed finally and refused to give me a cancelation number. He laughed when I insisted and actually told me that if my card did not have the funds it won't go through anyway and hung up. Very livid at myself for attempting to give a different travel site a chance. I am sticking with Booking.com from now on. Cheapflights.com needs to research the sites posted on their website to make sure they are credible travel companies and not scammers!!
