It was a great experience travelling to Southern Xinjiang with China Highlights! To be frank, I was rather worried about making huge payments online but reading the many rave reviews on Trust Pilot sealed the deal for me and they have indeed proven to be very professional at every touchpoint - travel advisor Jason, loyalty program executive Yuni, and customer care manager Roberto. As a small group of 8, we were able to move quickly and so we could spend more time in each destination. I really appreciate the passion of the two local tour guides (Mr Chen in Kashigar and Summer in Urumqi) in making sure we had all the cultural experiences and fun memories to bring back. They also went out of their way to take care of us and feed us with lots of juicy fruits everyday. Truly pure play and no planned shopping. I’m already planning the next China trip with them.
Amazing day trip to dazu and 3 natural bridges. The guide joanna knows many tips to take amazing pictures and bring us to all the attractions. All drivers and guides including peter are great. Jerry was a terrific guide! We always felt safe, well fed and well informed. We had a wonderful adventure in Xian visiting the Terracotta Warriors site and learning calligraphy. Tom was our driver and was also fantastic. We will be recommending to friends.
We booked a 3-day tour of Kunming with China Highlights. We were served by tour coordinator, Camilla Jiang who planned our tour for this elderly couple. She was responsive and willing to make changes to suit our needs. The tour experience was made most enjoyable with our assigned tour guide, Scott. We were fortunate to have him as our guide, as he was patient especially towards us as an elderly couple. He ensures our comfort and meals are sufficient for both of us. His thoughtfulness made a lasting impression on us. We truly enjoyed our trip and the experience we had in Kunming.
Our tour guide Serena anticipated everything … not only did she arrange all of the highlight stops, but her timing was impeccable. The car always appeared just as we finished a visit, she knew the best times to go and the best entrances to use. All the while, she shared so many wonderful cultural and historically significant information with us! We were very sad to say good bye! What a wonderful ambassador of Beijing!
