I arrived at the hotel at 1:30am after an incredibly long and stressful day of travel, and I was greeted by (I believe her name was Emily) who was absolutely wonderful. She was warm, smiling, calm and genuinely kind — exactly what I needed after what I’d been through at the airport. It made such a difference to be welcomed by someone who felt like a breath of fresh air.
The room was spotless and beautifully designed. I loved the tech-forward setup — it took a little getting used to, and occasionally the blinds and lights seemed to have a mind of their own, but it didn’t bother me at all.
Breakfast was delicious with a really good variety of hot and cold options — and roast potatoes at breakfast was a first for me (and a very welcome one!). Again, the staff were friendly and helpful.
One small suggestion would be the option of hot drinks in the room. After arriving very late and feeling quite cold, it would have been lovely to make a tea without heading back downstairs — although I appreciate this may simply be a French or brand standard.
My only other small criticism is that I had booked a late checkout until 2:00pm, but unfortunately the message hadn’t reached housekeeping and I was disturbed while catching up on some much-needed rest. It wasn’t a major issue, but after a disrupted travel schedule, that extra rest was important.
Overall, a genuinely lovely stay with kind staff, and I would absolutely stay again.
My stay raised significant concerns regarding guest safety and accountability. During my visit, valuable personal jewelry went missing from my room. I promptly informed the management and filed a report with local authorities. While the hotel initially expressed concern, after prolonged communication, they concluded that no evidence was found and thus would not take responsibility. No compensation or alternative resolutions were offered. For an international hotel brand that claims to be modern and reliable, this level of indifference following a serious incident is unacceptable. I would strongly advise anyone with valuable items to reconsider staying here.
My stay at this hotel raised serious issues about guest safety and accountability. During my visit, valuable personal jewelry disappeared from my room. I quickly reported this to management and filed a formal complaint with local authorities. Although the hotel initially seemed concerned, after lengthy communication, they concluded that no evidence was found and would not take responsibility. No compensation or alternative solutions were provided. For a global hotel chain that positions itself as modern and trustworthy, this level of disengagement after a serious incident is unacceptable. I would strongly advise against staying here if you have valuable belongings.
First, I want to acknowledge that the representative assisting my husband was doing a great job—very kind and helpful. However, the LOUD THUMPING music at 11pm is unbearable for hotel guests trying to rest after traveling. This is supposed to be a soundproof hotel, but it's far from that. When I called for assistance, I encountered an unhappy and angry employee who seemed disinterested. I felt like I was expected to tolerate the noise simply because of my location.
What started as a fantastic experience was marred by corporate issues. I've been a loyal member of the loyalty program for years, and previously enjoyed my stays. The app worked seamlessly for check-in, check-out, and room controls. However, after the company was taken over, they announced the app would be discontinued, and everything would shift to a new, less user-friendly platform. I was told all the good features would remain, but now they require a new account to access benefits, which has been confusing and frustrating. The migration process has been poorly handled, leading to alienation of loyal customers.
The location was good, and the room was acceptable, but the usual tea-making facilities were missing. My main issue was with the iPad control; it worked well for lights but was terrible for the TV—slow to connect and hard to navigate. A standard remote would have been much better. I also accidentally left my earbuds behind, but communication with the staff was impossible—no one answered the phone, and online chat was unhelpful.
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel! If you’re into technology, this place is fantastic. The lobby is vibrant and modern, resembling an Apple Store. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We were upgraded due to our large luggage, which was great for a short visit. The iPad controlled everything in the room, which was fun. The room was immaculate, and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. The iPad even played music to suit your mood. The glass bathroom doors were fine, despite other reviews. Conveniently located, I would definitely stay here again!
I stayed for a few days in Dublin. The location was excellent, and the staff provided great service, but the rooms were uncomfortably cold despite adjusting the temperature on the iPad. The air conditioning seemed to let in drafts, and the bathroom walls were glass, which offered no privacy. Hot water took an eternity, although the shower itself was fine. The breakfast was overpriced for what was offered.
The rooms were extremely small. I had to climb over my partner to move around. There was no nightstand or place for personal items, and no glasses—just nothing. The shower was tiny and uncomfortable. Everything was electronic, which was more of a hassle than a benefit. I won't be returning!
