I've decided not to buy anything as they essentially catfish you into thinking this is a reputable store, with jewellery handmade by one lady who's retiring (to create urgency in case you miss out!).I thought this sort of misleading advertising was illegal? The prices are too good to be true.I notice that their Privacy Policy says that ownership of the item passes to you once the product is passed to their shipping handler - so you may receive nothing and they will do nothing about it. Extremely dodgy!
This is the same scam company advertising as C'est La Vie Boutique, Artisan Weekly, The Art Journal, The Craft Weekly, and Craftsmanship Daily. I have seen these ads in my Apple News feed on reputable websites such as The New Yorker and The Atlantic.I was scammed by C'est La Vie Boutique (boutique -cestlavie . com). I have reported their scam to my credit card company and Shopify (which is how I paid). I have emailed pictures to the company 3 times but have yet to get a credit. I think they figure people will give up, but you all need to email them, complain, and try to get a credit. Look on the website to find it as I cannot include it here.
FRAUDULENT RETAIL-SCAMMERS-BEWARE This entire site is a scam. The way they got me was by claiming that Claire was closing down for retirement and all the inventory was being sold at 15%-20% off.I browsed through the entire list and I found a beautiful Sterling Silver Ring that turned out to be COSTUME JUNK JEWELRY. I called my bank and it’s a total nightmare because the purchase was jewelry and they now think that I want to keep it and not pay for it.WTF?? There isn’t a number to contact the seller because they are in 🤬 Hong Kong, China and the number listed on their website is a bogus number. Please don’t buy anything from CLAIRE HANDCRAFTED JEWELRY the image of the silver haired American lady is a FAKE.I pray for China to get hit by a Shumani and wash away all of their dirty and filthy FACTORIES.
If I could give minus stars I would. I ordered 2 items on June 9th and its now July21. First, i get an email about giving an incorrect address which was not true, then tracking notes 2 attempts to deliver failed, again untrue. Contacted customer service by email told contact my postal office and the shipping carrier. First the shipping carrier is from China and where I live, there isn't any postal serice. The last 2 emails from them said the exact same thing indicating they are scripted and a human reading or answering them. I asked for refund and was denied. I will be contacting my credit card company. I wish I had read these reviews first because then I would have never ordered from them. Shame on me for believing the company was from US as listed only to find out everything comes from China. A bit difficult to make handcrafted jewelry from China. Complete scam!
